From November to March, when the trail is unsafe due to snow and ice, we replace the Sequoia hike with extra time in Yosemite Valley.
Winter in Yosemite is much colder than San Francisco. Wear warm clothes and shoes with rubber soles and good traction.
The tour stops around 8:30am for breakfast, 1pm for lunch, and 6pm for dinner on the way back. Meals are not included.
California law requires tour guests to bring a car safety seat for all children under 8 years and under 4' 9" (1.4 meters) in height

3.00Yosmite was amazing, nothing like anything else. This tour however was average, the bus was clearly ready for retirement, rattled terribly, had steering trouble, aircon did not always work and headlights barely worked, and this was the replacement as the original had brake issues. It also needs some sort hands free kit for the driver as he was always using his phone while driving, and he regularly exceeded the speed limit.
A MUST go trip if you are in San Francisco

5.00Had an amazing day. Teha was a great guide always giving funny facts on our way to Yosemite national park, making the long journey to the park feel not so long. In the park it self we were able to have freestyle adventures following Teha recomendarions. Every 2 hours we would make a stop and we truly recommend to have food and lots of water with you. We also had multiple stops to admire the view and take some breathtaking photos. Highly recommend it if you spend a couple of days in the city.

2.00Poor communication with pick up time. Viator used a third party for the tour. The company they used sub contracted with another company. Was told 3 different times for pick up. Driver was easily distracted and also did not communicate well because he gave conflicting instructions. Vehicle was hot- but Yosemite was stunning!. I have used Viator countless times world wide for tours and excursions. This is the first negative experience I have had.

The tour guide was also very considerate of the participants throughout, despite the long tour.
