This action pack day will start by visiting two natural rock waterslides, one for beginners and another for the adrenaline seekers, swimming in natural water holes and jumping from rocks.
Then will head to a serene freshwater natural pool where the more adventurous will be able to jump from a rope swing and others will just float, swim or relax in the river bank. All this surrounded by green lush areas and after first doing a short hike to admire the local plants and trees. End up this perfect day by relaxing at a beautiful popular beach with few waves and calm waters.
In this excursion we will not enter the official El Yunque National Rainforest for sightseeing, but rather visit the less touristy spots and local water fun areas on the outskirts of the Rainforest for a more adventurous experience.
This tour requires some physical fitness, balance, hiking and basic swimming skills. Minimum age is 3 years old. Minimum tour group size is 4 people.

First visit is a privately own local spot. The area has beautiful volcanic rock formations to walk around, a small waterfall and a natural swimming hole where you can jump from rocks. The main attractions are two natural rock waterslides, one for beginners and another for the adrenaline seekers, that will make everybody have a great time. After all this action is time to relax later for about one hour at the beautiful popular Luquillo beach, with few waves and calm waters, before heading back to your hotel.
Rio Grande
This stop is at the rainforest outskirts with its green and lush scenery. We will have a guided short hike by a certified tour guide through a trail that leads to another river and a serene freshwater natural pool, while admiring local the plants and trees around. Here, the more adventurous will be able to jump from a rope swing and others will just float, swim or relax in the shallow areas of the river.

5.00Yamile Robles was an outstanding tour guide/driver. She picked us at the port after our cruise and then drove my family, children and grandchildren (6 people in total) to El Yunque to go to the Observation Tower, the small waterfall and then take a short walk into the rainforest. She was enthusiastic and provided great information on the rainforest and on Puerto Rico (history, culture, cuisine). We then stopped for a lunch along the beach. She recommended an excellent restaurant. Yamile was fun and patient with two little kids, 5 and 3.

5.00Spending the day with Yamile was incredible. Her kindness, knowledge, and passion made for a really enjoyable experience. She made us feel like her family the minute she picked us up. There were times I felt a little out of my comfort zone and she was nothing but supportive and encouraging, creating a safe and enjoyable experience. I highly recommend booking a tour with Yamile, she was the absolute best!!!!

5.00We did a cruise excursion with Yamile..we toured old san juan , went on an atv tour, did some sight seeing and stopped at a riverbank to swim..we had an amazing time..and now have a cousin in Puerto Rico..lol..ty Yamile for making our stop in Puerto Rico so memorable 😀 💗

5.00By far one of the best tours we have ever done. Yamile was amazing!!! She definitely knows all the spots and makes you feel like a local. Yamile was very informative and super accommodating. We came in on a cruise and she picked us up right at the port. She had a lovely, roomy van, provided water and kept the ac running as it was good and hot in july. If you have a full day, book this tour. It was a lot of fun. The beach was beautiful and the waterslides were a cool experience. We have too cool for school teenagers and they kept saying over and over how much fun they were having. Yamile treated us like family and she was a delight to spend the day with. We will definitely be contacting her the next time we are in San Juan...and you should too.

5.00If you only plan to take (1) excursion while in P.R.; take this one with Yamile! (Yunque Rainforest Tour). She’s very knowledgeable, knows her way around, accommodating, she’s sweet and her van is spotless. We went with our family of (6) and had an Amazing time! We will definitely book more excursions with Yamile when we return to Puerto Rico in the future! 🙂

5.00Yet another amazing experience/tour with Yamile!! Our large group had a blast visiting the rainforest/Yunque, followed by some fun water activities including swimming and natural rock water slides. The rope jumping into the river was so much fun!! We ended the excursion with a great meal of local Puerto Rican food with a beautiful beach as a backdrop. Yamile was once again amazing!! She is super friendly , energetic and full of knowledge about her beautiful island. She kept us away from crowded areas so that we could better experience these beautiful places. Her van was always immaculate and very comfortable. I highly recommend this excursion!!

5.00This tour was awesome. My teenage children and parents all enjoyed the experience. There was plenty to enjoy if you didn't want to do the swing and slide. We actually took two yours from this company and both guides were amazing. Helpful with planning and what to bring for the day and a joy to be with during the tour. They were constantly making sure that everyone was having a great time and were very knowledgeable about culture and nature. It was a fabulous experience!
