Rastoke
We will have a short break at Rastoke village in the city of Slunj. This watermill historical village of extraordinary natural beauty and tradition is built where river Slunjčica flows into Korana river forming several waterfalls and lakes. Most of the traditional architecture you will see, suffered destruction during the Homeland War and locals have been encouraged to preserve and renovate objects due to its ambiental and ethnological value.
Plitvice Lakes National Park
Half an hour drive from Slunj lies oldest and most visited Croatian National Park stretching over 300 square kilometers. Plitvice Lakes National Park with its outstanding beauty was in 1979 inscribed as UNESCO World Heritage Site for geological and ecological values. We will have a walk to see the complex of 16 terraced lakes joined by waterfalls, a boat ride across the lake and a panoramic train ride. After the tour of Plitvice Lakes your guide can recommend you a restaurant serving traditional Croatian food for lunch.
Old Split
We will finish the day with check-in to your accommodation in Split. You will have a free evening for a walk or dinner.
Klis Fortress
In the morning hours, your guide will pick you up at your accommodation and take you to Klis Fortress, a historic stronghold perched high above Split. As you explore the ancient walls and towers, you'll enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and learn about the fortress's role in defending the region through centuries. After soaking in the history and scenery, your tour will continue on to the next exciting destination.
Historic City of Trogir
IJust a short drive from Klis, Trogir is a beautifully preserved medieval city situated on a small island 27 kilometers northwest of Split. Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Trogir is celebrated for its exceptional urban continuity, with a street plan dating back to the Hellenistic period, Romanesque churches, and stunning Renaissance and Baroque buildings. As you stroll through its narrow, cobbled streets, you'll encounter elegant palaces and sacred architecture that reflect centuries of cultural heritage. After the visit to Klis and Trogir, in the early afternoon hours, your guide will drop you off at your hotel or in Split Old Town. The rest of the afternoon is reserved for your free time to explore Split at your own pace. Your guide will be happy to recommend must-visit places, hidden gems, and local experiences to make the most of your time in this vibrant coastal city.
Old Bridge Area of the Old City of Mostar
Third day of our tour we will leave Split behind and drive towards Bosnia & Herzegovina to Mostar. Mostar is a city in southern Bosnia and Herzegovina best known for iconic Ottoman-style Old Bridge (Stari Most). In Mostar you can witness a unique blend of diverse cultural, ethnic and religious communities. Walking through the cobbled streets of Mostar you will discover pre-Ottoman, eastern Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European architectural features. Best things to do in Mostar include visit to colorful bazaar, drinking Turkish coffee in riverside cafes and tasting local specialty called ćevapi.
Dubrovnik Cruise Port
In the afternoon hours we finally reach Dubrovnik a town famous for the untouched walled city listed as UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979. You will be dropped off at your hotel or in Dubrovnik Cruise Port.

You will spend a fair amount of time in the car, but there are also opportunities to be active. You will marvel at the beauty of Croatia and have a once in a lifetime experience. Great way to see the country, especially if you’re short on time.

Mapping Croatia is very responsive once we started to communicate through whatsapp. Advice and instructions given were useful and clear. Our guide, Lovro, is excellent! Our trip was organized professionally. Our walk at the Plitivcka national park was most refreshing and enjoyable. Lovro is very proactive in sharing knowledge/history of the areas which helped enriched our tour. The 3-day tour is good in giving you a taste of the picturesque old town of Split, Trogir and Dubrovnik. The side trip to Mostar was good to have.

After trying to figure out how to see as much of Croatia as possible, I came across this tour. It is worth every Kuna! Our driver, Tomislav, was knowledgeable and insured we got everywhere safely. His English is impeccable as he spent a year as a foreign exchange student in the US. He helped us to the hotels we had booked and even helped carry our luggage. It was nice to be able to take a nap after hiking around Plitvice Lakes while he drove us to Split. On the second day we had a wonderful tour with Lea around the Diocletian Palace in Split and then Tomislav took us to Trogir for the afternoon so we could have a chance to explore. On the way to Dubrovnik we stopped at Mostar and added another stamp to our passport. I recommend this experience highly!

The land trip from Zagreb to Dubrovnik via Split was memorable. The scenery was beautiful. However, its heart breaking to see bullet holes in some houses. Be that as it may, our tour was excellent, with Tom, our driver and indefatigable guide doing everything to make our trip perfect. Cheers to Tom.

Tom was incredible in Plitvice. The walking was tough on my disabled grandmother but he made sure she pulled through. Tom found multiple places for her to sit and rest, arranged for a park ranger to pick her up, and even found the buses so that she didn’t have to do excessive walking. Regardless, she saw it all, and loved the waterfalls, as did all of us. We loved the tour and highly suggest that you book!
