• The best day trip to zakopane - a fun filled full day tour

  We went on the snowmobile zakopane tour on the 8th January and it was the highlight of our trip to Krakow. So glad we booked it. There were 5 stops on the tour; everything was arranged seamlessly and the day ran smoothly. The guide Micheal was amazing, a knowledgable, friendly person with a great sense of humour! He was the best guide and we could tell he really loved his job and it reflected on the day we had. If you want to book a zakopane trip you must book this tour it was great from start to finish and the snowmobiling was the ultimate highlight. Micheal took pictures and videos of the group whilst snowmobiling and sent them to us all the next day at no added cost! I had actually originally booked a trip by a different tour company via get your guide but after stumbling across this company and reading the good reviews for the zakopane tour I cancelled my original trip and booked on to Tours4U krakow. Best decision we made. If you book on this trip please book through their website like we did, third companies take commission, and they truly are a company that deserves every penny!!!

  What a fantastic day. Everything was superbly arranged, lots of fun, and thoroughly recommended! Michal could not have done more for us, he was punctual, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I had questions before the tour (even before booking), and Michal gave me a call and chatted through options. This was a really well organised tour, and we had an awesome day!   We had an amazing day, guided by Michael, to Zacopane. Picked up from our accommodation and travelled with 3 other couples in a mini bus. Meeting another 8 once there. Michael was the best host and guide throughout, keeping us well informed and sharing stories and experiences. Snow mobiles were a lot of fun with opportunity to swap drivers half way. Michael took plenty photos and videos and shared them with us afterwards at no extra cost. You’re given helmets and snoods (and gloves if required). Local stops to hear about culture and traditions were interesting and enjoyable with opportunity to sample and buy. Zacopane itself can be busy, we used this stop to go for a meal. There is the opportunity to go up the cable car if you have time. We were at the thermal baths in the evening. Changing areas were confusing but again Michael kept us right. The outside pool with the lazy river and DJ were the busiest. Bars at other areas has minimal access to no wait however. Take your own towels for ease as queues getting into the baths are long, Although with Michael we got straight through but if you needed extras such as towels you’ll need to go back to the desks. Floors are slippy, we saw a few people slip and fall so be careful, we took our own sliders/flipflops which for the cold floors outside was very useful. Michael returned us all back to our accommodations. All in all we were away for around 14 hours, a brilliant day however and did not feel like a long day at all. Thank you Michael, you were fantastic!

  A wonderful day from start to finish! Our guide Michael was super friendly, informative and spoke amazing English. The tour lasted from 8pm til around 9.30pm with hotel pickup and drop off included. We saw the beautiful village of the highlanders and were welcomed into a locals house to understand the history of this area. The village was beautiful and picturesque under a blanket of snow. We then headed to our snowmobile tour - highlight of the day!! Where we drove snowmobiles through the beautiful mountains of Zakopane for an hour, with a stop halfway to take photos/change drivers. It was so much fun! Afterwards, we headed to taste some traditional polish cheese which was delicious, highly recommend! Then headed into the centre of zakopane where we were given an hour and a half free time to do as we please. There is lots to do there, restaurants, market stalls, souvenir shops, although I would recommend heading up the cable car to the top to take in the breathtaking views. It cost 49PLN for a return ticket which is around £12 but well worth the price. We then headed to the thermal baths which, through no fault of our tour operator, wasn’t as good as we’d hoped. It was very overcrowded and there are not enough changing rooms as there are lockers. The idea of the baths seems lovely but if I was to return, I would definitely go in an off peak time. We then were dropped back off in Krakow. Overall, Tours4U Krakow was the perfect operator for our trip, small group with a very attentive and friendly guide.   We had a wonderful guided tour through Zakopane that was very well organized and full of great experiences. The snowmobiling was a highlight, the cheese tasting was delicious, and visiting the village gave us a nice insight into local culture. Our tour guide, Michal, was excellent—very informative and made sure everything ran smoothly throughout the day. The small groups of only up to 8 people made the experience extra special and made sure everyone was included and comfortable. The only downside was that the thermal baths were overcrowded, but that’s an issue with the venue itself (and we went on the busiest day), not the tour. Overall, a fantastic experience that I’d highly recommend!

  We had a fantastic snowmobiling experience and such a lovely day overall. The guides were absolutely lovely, friendly, patient, and made us feel safe and welcome from start to finish. Everything was well organised and the scenery was beautiful, which made the experience even more special. We truly enjoyed every moment and would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the area.   Thank you michael for making us grill a great day, great attention, personalized explanations, photos and videos, very attentive. First we made a little stop for breakfast, then we went to chocholow the wooden village, then we went to try the cheeses, he prepared them himself, then the quad bikes, then he made us reportage, then we went to Zakopane a mountain village to throw ourselves down slides and snow doughnuts, or go compass and finally the thermals, all without rush.   Absolutely amazing day! We booked this as a little bit of a compromise snowmobile for me and the baths for the wife, in the end we both loved each part, visiting the huts and little village were an extra bonus. Very knowledgeable informative and friendly guide. Great communication answered all my questions before and during, prompt pick up times. Absolutely perfect day would 100% recommend. Thanks again

  Had absolutely the best day of our trip with Michael on our Zakopane tour. Booked initially through Get your Guide but would absolutely book direct next time. Small bus with a maximum of 8 people. He adjusted the timings of the tour to ensure we missed the crowd and gave us more time in Zakopane because of the crowds. Fantastically knowledgeable and a generally great guy! Some of the other tour companies had big coaches and everyone had to wait around as there weren’t enough snowmobiles for all on the coast in one go.
