Tongli Town
Your local friendly driver will pick up at your place in Suzhou at your preferred time (Exact pick up time will be coordinated once the booking is made). Follow your courteous driver and hop onto the clean, air-conditioned car, sit back and enjoy a comfortable ride to Tongli water town, One of the best-preserved water town in China. Here spends quality time to visit the town along the river canal, see the UNESCO garden Tuisi Garden, walk across lucky stone ring bridges, explore the lovely canal markets, street vendors and more. You could also choose to enjoy a nice gondola ride to fully take the charm of the “Chinese Venice” township scenery.
Zhouzhuang Water Town
Then, you will enjoy the nice ride to Zhouzhuang water town known as the China No.1 water town. Upon arrival, you will start to explore the town with leisure and ease. Visit old residences, water markets, local streets, interesting food market and more. After the wonderful visits, you will get dropped off either at your Suzhou hotel or Shanghai hotel based on the option you choose. Your driver is with basic English skills but he will be well informed about the pick-up and drop off details. A local English-speaking assistant is available on the phone to assist before or during the transfers if needed.

5.00The water towns are amazing! We had a good friend from China with us so did not need a guide, only a driver. However, the towns are easily accessible, and we could have managed even without our friend. Tongli is a bit more relaxed and less developed - and I think also quite beautiful. Zhouzhuang is larger and more developed, with a large street as you approach the town with many nice shops. Some asked us why we saw both - but we thought they were different enough and I am glad we did. Having the private driver for our group was great. We stayed in Tongli long enough to see the sites at our own pace, then we were driven over to Zhouzhuang. We wanted to have dinner in one of the towns so we could see them at night. The lanterns and water at night are magical. We started our day at 1 pm so that an 8-hour tour took us to 9 pm. Sunny the tour leader was great - excellent communication and very flexible - we asked about adding on an hour if dinner was running late, and it was easy to do. I recommend this tour and this tour operator.

5.00This was a wonderful way to do the area. Our driver took care of getting us there and dropped us at the entrance. Then we could explore knowing that he would be there when we were done. Just an excellent experience!

5.00It was very beautiful and well organized. You do not need 8 hours on this. We did it in 4 hours. It is beautiful but always the same so you dont need that much time

5.00Although this tour has no tour guide but the driver took us to the right place and gave us some recommendations about what to see and look for in each watertown that we visited. We were also given enough time to explore each Watertown. It was really a satisfying trip to both Watertown and definitely a memorable one.
