5.00This is quite the hike for an old man like me. Ha. Basically 3mi straight up if you are permitted to go to the top of Angel’s Landing. (Just know even with the government shutdown, park rangers are stationed at Scouts overlook to regulate access to Angels Landing trail to only permitted hikers.) Our guide Jeremy did an excellent job of pacing us all the way up and sharing lots of local knowledge about the hike and Zion in general. He proved invaluable as a “traffic cop” on the steep chain climb up to the top. The trail is tight in many sections with 2-way traffic competing for chain access. Jeremy knew where the choke points would be and did a great job of controlling traffic as needed to allow all to pass safely. I never felt scared or in danger at any point during our hike up or back down. Yes, the trail is very steep, close to sheer drop offs, gaps in the chained sections, crowded (with a few self absorbed idiots) and strenuous but it is doable. For me, getting a guide was worth the extra cost. Our permit was guaranteed and Jeremy’s knowledge of the trail, and how to hike it, were reassuring for all. We were even lucky enough to see a pair of owls on the way back down. What a great experience. Go & Enjoy.

5.00I was fortunate enough to get June as my guide and it turned out to be an Incredible experience. I didn’t think I needed a guide but opted for one to facilitate getting the permit for the day I wanted. She called a couple of days before, sent a list of what was needed, took lots of photos and videos, and talked me through the difficult and/or scary patches. I probably wouldn’t have completed it without her knowledge and calming presence. Thank you so much June. You are the best!

5.00We cannot say enough about this company and our guide, June. June was so knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I had a moment of "I can't make it," and she was encouraging. (A big bulk of this challenge is mental, and June knew that and talked me through it.) We had an incredible conversation throughout the climb. June called in advance to be sure we had what we needed for a successful climb. During the climb, she also helped other climbers, who were often ill-prepared, to move around us. She took pictures and videos for us, too. If I were to return to Zion, I would contact this tour company and only this tour company. The views atop Angel's Landing are amazing, and they are worth the climb. Thank you, June!!

5.00We had such a great experience on this tour. We had tour guide Nick who was funny and informative, and very motivational. Being from California and on a vacation, we did not want to deal with the lottery system and also wanted a guide to help us navigate the climb. It worked out! Thanks to Nick we got to the park by 7, paced ourselves, learned a lot on the way, and FINISHED. I almost bailed due to fear at one point, but Nick helped me navigate the process. We also all agreed afterwards that meeting him at 7 forced my teenagers out of bed, and that his reminders to stop and drink (even when we felt fine) kept us all from bonking due to the midday heat. A+ all around - the hike was a trip highlight and worth the cost.
Better way than “hoping” you win the permit lottery!

5.00I’m so glad we paid a few extra bucks to hire a guide. Yes, you can try to get a permit to Angels’ Landing but good luck with the lottery LOL. Especially if you have a small group, I think this is the best way to make sure you’re safe, supported and of course have the permits as they definitely check them when you get up there!

5.00After searching for days for a tour company that can guide us up to Angel's Landing with the required permits, I came across Land Beyond Zion and the positive reviews it received from reviewers. My wife and I had a short stay in Zion and wanted to experience this hike before we leave. I didn't want to play around with the lottery system for this hike and be disappointed for not getting the required permits to do the hike. So I decided to leave nothing to chance and go up with experienced and knowledgeable guides of Land Beyond Zion to lead us up to Angel's Landing. Happy that I did as I highly recommend them and the thrilling and fun day they set up for us.
