Our Gallatin River ZipLine is located on Highway 191 between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana, just over an hour drive from West Yellowstone. The dramatic scenery includes towering limestone cliffs, pine forests, and a rushing river. Tours start by ascending sky bridges to a tree platform 55 ft in the air, as well as including two zips across the beautiful Gallatin River.

Weight Max is 260 lbs per participant.

Our Big Sky Zipline is located on the Gallatin River off of Highway 191 between Bozeman and Big Sky, Montana, just over an hour’s drive from West Yellowstone. The dramatic scenery includes towering limestone cliffs, pine forests, and a rushing river. You may recognize this area as the movie ‘A River Runs Through It was filmed here! We offer two tours: A Classic and Super ZipLine near Big Sky. Both of these tours start by ascending sky bridges to a tree platform 55 ft in the air, as well as including two zips across the beautiful Gallatin River. The Super Zip features more adventurous elements that test your balance on swinging wooden bridges and an optional cargo net climb. Max weight per participant 260 lbs.

Caden and Autumn were fantastic guides! They seemed genuinely stoked to be up in the air with all of us and shared some really cool tricks. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience for our family’s first time zip lining. Hanging upside down over the Gallatin was a thrill I’ll never forget. Wish I’d left this review sooner but we traveled out of service and then it slipped my mind. Caden was super sweet to our nine year old. Enjoyed talking to Autumn about the importance of art education. Zip lining is likely always a fun adventure but I credit our amazing guides for shaping the day into a core memory for our fam! Challenging obstacles, high platforms

I have an extreme fear of heights and I didn’t think I would be able to finish the challenging aerial obstacle course but with the encouragement of the guides and friends I did it. The guides were knowledgeable and very capable. Swinging bridges and challenging obstacles not for the faint of heart be warned if you are afraid of heights this may not be for you
Honeymooon Road Trip Adventure Stop!

The entire staff here was absolutely a blast to interact with. We did the 3 zip line course on 9/12/25, while on our honeymoon road trip, and had Alyssa and Jade as our guides and they were AWESOME!!! I was nervous and they made me feel very comfortable. It was my first time. Now, I am researching places to zip line back home! Thank you to the staff for our wonderful experience!

Our group of 6 did the 6 zip course and had an amazing time! The scenery is beautiful and our favorites were across the Gallatin River. One of our group conquered her fear of heights! The swinging bridges can be a challenge for some, but are very doable and we felt completely safe. Our guides, Drew and Alyssa, encouraged us to have fun, be adventurous and "touch the trees."

First of all, I have never zip lined before, but my husband had! Our guides, Jackson and Autumn, not only do they really enjoy their jobs, and effectively communicate to the ‘zippers’, but they also have every safety protocol well-rehearsed, and implemented. Even though I am afraid of heights, I never once felt that I wasn’t being “cared for“ and watched over. They not only crack you up with their jokes as they communicate safety measures to you, they also really know how to have a good time and make everyone in the group have a good time! Such an exhilarating great time and a lot of it was because of the guides! Kudos to Montana Whitewater for employee such engaging hosts!

Jackson and Dana were our guides for zip lining and they were great. The check in process was easy and the women working in the office were so friendly and answered all of our questions. The course was beautiful. Definitely recommend

This was so much fun!!! We always do a zipline tour everywhere we travel and this one was definitely one of the most scenic. The zip over the river was beautiful! Alyssa and Jackson were our guides and they did a great job making sure we were safe and had a fun time.
