The tour is designed to allow you to experience a little-seen part of Okinawan culture. Cycling around the back alleys of the city with your local guide, you will embark on a pilgrimage to the various Zodiac shrines of Naha and Shuri. You will have the chance to witness modern-day Okinawans observe worship traditions dating all the way back to the Ryukyu Kingdom era. This is your opportunity to experience for yourself shrines, temples, sacred springs, royal mausoleums, and more in the unique Ryukyuan style.
If we're lucky, the kami (gods), bodhisattvas, ancestors, etc. may look favorably upon you and your kin!
※If the precipitation probability exceeds 70% or in case of severe weather, we may change plans. In this case, we will contact you the day before.

Children aged 1 to 5 can have a child seat attached to the parent's bicycle. Please consult the staff for more information.

Please meet at the store near Makishi Monorail Station. 1 minute walk from Makishi Monorail Station. We will pick up our electric bicycles and give a brief information session so that everyone can enjoy a safe ride.
You can see Kannon Bodhisattva, the guardian deity of the Ryukyu Kingdom, as well as beautiful carvings and ornaments. You can look over the cityscape of Shuri from the bright vermilion temple.

5.00Took the Zodiac tour on 4/22/2026. Tour was a lot of fun and the e-bikes were in excellent condition, fast, and made the overall tour smooth. The guides were fun and informative and made for a great experience. I am glad I did this tour and would do another tour if back in Okinawa!

5.00Jojo was a great guide. We had fun visiting many temples and learning about the culture and local customs. Aki, another tour guide, joined us and was very knowledgeable as well. Would recommend!

5.00Very efficient, the guide Jojo took me to the most interesting places and told me the basic info, all I needed was to follow her and enjoy the views. Cycling is very easy as the drivers in Japan are very polite, so you are always safe. The shop has a good selection of push bikes and electric bikes to choose from. This tour is doable on both electric and push bike, there were only a couple of steep hills at the start.

5.00It's a great way to get to know Naha quickly! Jojo was very friendly and helped me find my way around the island. The stops are well selected and it is also a great activity when the weather is not so good. The small group is also very good, would recommend it to anyone who is in Naha for the first time!
Good choice to see important areas of Naha.

5.00Part of the ride is on busy streets. E-bikes really help on the hill. The guide, Maria, was fantastic getting us around and explaining Okinawa culture.
