Zurich has a beautiful, historic old town. Many of the buildings are several hundred years old. In small, private groups, we, two local residents, will guide you for about two hours through winding alleys and cosy squares, right across the old town on both sides of the Limmat river. We will visit places where you can feel the rich history of the city and which can only be reached via special access.

5.00Our guide, Alexander, was prompt, professional and fun! This was a tour filled with magical secrets of Zurich Old Town guided by a true local. We got to see Albert Einstein's locker at the technical University, the gorgeous churches and the lovely Chagall windows! We, also, saw Secret gardens and majestic views!

If you’re visiting and would like to get a behind the scenes view around the oldest parts of Zurich this is a great option! Both couples in our group enjoyed tremendously. Well done Sophie!!! 5.00From our first moment meeting Alexander, he was friendly and welcoming. He took us to many unique and interesting places around the old city center and provided us with a wealth of historical information. 5.00Maria was super friendly and knowledgeable about the history of Old Town Zurich. Maria spoke both English and German and switched between languages so everyone could understand what we were looking at:) We had a very positive experience with Maria as our guide.

5.00This was a great way to orient ourselves with Zurich the first day we arrived. We adjusted our schedule to see different aspects of the city after learning there were more interesting places to visit than we'd originally planned. Our tour through the universities showed us unexpected historical perspective. And, our tour guides pointed out some budget-friendly options for dinner!

5.00Maria was a fantastic guide. We covered lots of ground and she pointed out many sites that were above street level that a casual walker would miss. Her wanderings led us through narrow alleyways that clearly showed her intimate knowledge of the city. Definitely good value for an expertly guided tour.
