What To Expect
Berea
ダーバンの中心部にあるわずか10ヘクタールの自然保護区であるピジョン・バレーは、東青銅裸の（Delegorgue's）ピジョンにちなんで名付けられており、元々はここに集められ、1847年にDelegorgueによって記録された。 クワズール・ナタール州でも有数のバードウォッチングスポットとされている。 かつてベレアのかなりの部分を覆っていた、かつて広大なステラの茂みの一部が保護区に保存されている。 植生はクライマックスの海岸低地林の典型であり、いくつかの壮大な樹種—特に保護区が最初に設定された珍しいナタール・エルム—が森林を表している。 マダラツグミ、ハシブトナガ、ミドリマルコハ、ミドリフタオシジミを探す。
Durban Botanic Gardens

5.00We are from Spain and we had not any previous idea of what birds are around Durban. For us it would be almost impossible to spot and identify any birds without the invaluable help of our driver/guide, Fortune. We took the one day tour and visited two different areas , Umhlanga and the botanical Garden in a relaxed atmosphere in a visit for only 2 persons. We watched species completely different from the europeans. We loved the palm-nut cultures, drongos, bishops, weavers,... After that, I don't know if It is usually included or if it was due to our interest in local culture, Fortune took us to a market were tradicional medicines were sold. Amazing. We will never forget It. Thanks, Fortune and 1st Zulu
