生け花を学ぶことは、日本語人の自然観への理解を深めることにつながります。生け花は、この視覚芸術の形式を生み出すために融合する独特の美学、感情、思考を鑑賞するための重要なステップです。 生け花は、かつては武士や僧侶など、教養のある男性にとって必須の「作法」でした。

5.00The Ikebana Experience was a highlight of our fantastic trip to Japan. Kimi is delightful and gave us a deeper understanding of the history and philosophy of ikebana. Then she gently and enthusiastically instructed us in making our own flower arrangements. The townhouse where she teaches is itself lovely and traditional. People we showed photos of our arrangements couldn't believe how good they were. This was definitely worth the stop.

5.00We did the Ikebana experience with Kimiko. She explained the history of Ikebana and the evolution of styles over the ages. Next the use of direction and space was demonstrated. My wife and I then made a flower arrangement with some minor hints from Kimiko. We could not believe that we actually created a beautiful Ikebana. Great cultural experience.

5.00This is an excellent cultural immersion experience with a knowledgeable and friendly host and teacher. Kami-san is an expert and a caring master and teacher of ikebana. The experience is relaxing and rewarding.

5.00Book now - I wish I had done all three classes, but the other two were full one day prior. Kimi fit me into the one class, she was welcoming, personable, and knowledgeable. She started with the history of Ikebana and always stopped to ask if I was understanding her along the way. Her English is very good, and she is a natural teacher - HIGHLY recommend!!

5.00I can recommend the lesson whole heartedly. Kimi is a great teacher and a really kind person. She explained the basic well before we started to try to do our own Ikebana. The atmosphere there was very relaxing and we could really let our selfs go.

5.00We had an absolutely wonderful morning with Ami Kyoto, it was very informative and interesting, and we then made our wonderful arrangements with beautiful seasonal flowers. The setting was just beautiful and our teacher was so warm and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this activity.
