• Magical experience!

  Very passionate and welcoming guides for our tour, on the last evening of the season. Andomi and Maria (?) were so great with our kids, and taught them a lot about the area and taught the kids how to light a fire with a flint and steel. We were grateful for the warmth of the cottage while we waited for the sky to get dark enough to see the Aurora. The kids were so tired, but our guides were cheerful and friendly and although it was their job, they were just as excited as us when the lights became visible. Magical experience that we will never forget! Kiitos!

  Lovely trip out to the lake We was so lucky we saw incredible northern lights. Our guide was lovely and the cottage was really nice . It was about a 25 minute drive to Lake Piokajarvi. We walked on to the frozen lake just the edge a beautiful area Had about 2 hours to watch the sky and you can pop in & out of the cottage if you wish to warm up . It was freezing minus 35 degrees Our guide was great . Provided a hot drink & biscuits and made a fire There was only 6 on our tour and beforehand we was provided with a snow suit , boots & gloves suitable We actually booked that day and they were great .   An unforgettable experience in the forest with my family. We were guided by Daniela, who was extremely dedicated and attentive and did not spare efforts to provide us with the best experience possible. Obviously our main goal was to see the dawn, which we were not able to see, but still, it was fantastic to spend a good bit in a warm and well-decorated Christmas chalet, baking sausages and marshmallows on the fire outside and contemplating the frozen lake in the moonlight. Our daughters loved it and it was memorable for the whole family. Thank you for everything, Daniela, five stars, we loved it!

• Good for kids, however less chances to see northern lights

  We went on this trip as we had a toddler and were not sure if they would be comfortable doing the aurora chase. While the whole concept is family friendly we couldn’t spot aurora and we couldn’t move from the spot as it was a fixed one. The same night aurora was spotted in nearby places which were 30 min away. While the trip itself did not promise to show aurora, we felt that having sausages and marshmallows for £100 each was a bit expensive and not value for money. The guide was great. She and her partner followed the plan but they couldn’t be flexible and take us to other places due to the way this package was set. So thanks guides for entertaining us but I don’t recommend this trip if you want to have high chances to see northern lights

  Although unfortunately we did not manage to see the northern lights, the experience overall was fun thanks to our guide Jesse who was interactive and give us a snippet of what growing up in Finland is like.

• Cheap tour

  We had a group of about 30, which is fine, but at $125 or more for each they why are you so stingy on the food? One sausage for each person? And some marshmallows for $125? Pathetically chealt. It's a 20 minute Uber ride outside the city to look at the lights. Totally save yourself some money and don't book this

  We were lucky enough to see auroras as soon as we arrived. Even if we hadn't seen them, the super good experience. Highly recommended for families with children

  Felt as if guide was only a taxi driver who didn’t want to be there. He was friendly but not knowledgeable Expensive trip for 1 sausage by fire and no marshmallows as he forgot them Would not recommend

  I reached Rovaniemi Airport with wheather forecast clear sky. Tour operated texted me about cancellation because not enough people but They still add in more people and make my tour successful. It starts 8pm so not rushing. Also gave Winter Jackets and Boots. Cottage is still cold. Campfire with sausages and drinks. Manage to capture aurora with phone camera eventhough just tinge of green light in the north. This tour no provide photography services so try take with your own best.

  It was really good experience, very well organised with a lovely tour guide . The place is really magical and the campfire make it even more memorable. The little things like marshmallows and cinnamon buns made it 10 times better 😍. Highly recommended!
