Meet your guide and fellow travelers at 8:00 AM at the designated meeting point in Bishkek. After a short introduction, board a comfortable minibus and begin your journey toward Song Kul Lake, passing through diverse landscapes along the way.
Burana Tower
The first stop is Burana Tower, a historic Silk Road minaret dating back to the 11th century. Climb to the top for panoramic views of the valley, explore the open-air museum of ancient stone balbals (carvings), and learn about the tower’s history from your guide. This stop offers a fascinating glimpse into Kyrgyzstan’s rich cultural past.
Orto-Tokoy Water Reservoir
Pause for a short photo stop at Orto-Tokoy Reservoir, the first artificial lake in Kyrgyzstan. Enjoy the serene mountain backdrop and crystal-clear waters, offering a moment to take in the beauty of the region.
Kochkor
Arrive in Kochkor, a welcoming village known for its local culture and friendly atmosphere. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local village restaurant, where you will taste authentic Kyrgyz dishes made from fresh, local ingredients, before continuing your journey.
Kalmak-Ashuu
The adventure continues as we ascend the breathtaking Kalmak Ashuu Pass, reaching an altitude of 3,446 meters. As you make your way up, you’ll see shepherds tending to their livestock, with flocks of sheep and herds of horses grazing on vast pastures. This is a perfect opportunity to witness traditional Kyrgyz nomadic life, unchanged for centuries. Enjoy a photo stop at the top of the pass, where sweeping views of rolling meadows, yurts, and livestock create an unforgettable scene.
Song Kol Lake
Arrive at Song Kul Lake around 5 PM, where you’ll check into a traditional yurt camp. Experience Kyrgyz nomadic hospitality, enjoy a home-cooked dinner, and soak in the peaceful atmosphere of the lake. As night falls, step outside to witness a breathtaking sky full of stars, far from city lights.

Wake up to the crisp mountain air and enjoy a traditional breakfast at the camp. After breakfast, you can choose how to spend your morning—join an optional horseback riding experience, explore the surrounding area on your own, or simply relax and enjoy the peaceful nature, lake views, and mountain scenery around you.
33 Parrots Waterfall
At 12:00 PM, depart from the yurt camp and take a different route back through one of the most beautiful mountain passes in the region, considered a must-visit destination. This scenic pass winds through stunning alpine landscapes and offers unforgettable panoramic views along the way.
Kochkor
Stop in Kochkor for a hearty lunch, enjoying more of Kyrgyzstan’s traditional cuisine. Before heading back, visit a local souvenir shop, where you can browse and purchase handmade felt rugs, embroidery, and other Kyrgyz crafts—many inspired by the nomadic lifestyle and the animals that sustain it.
Bishkek
After a scenic journey back, arrive in Bishkek, where the tour concludes with a drop-off at the original meeting point, leaving you with unforgettable memories of nomadic traditions, stunning landscapes, and a deep connection to Kyrgyzstan’s wilderness.

5.00Lake Songkul is a world-class photography location, the scenery is beautiful and worth a visit. This two-day tour is just right for ordinary tourists. Drive from Bishkek, about 5-6 hours. After resting at the campsite, you can ride a horse by the lakeside and you can also ride up the hilltops . Then there is a perfect time to enjoy the sunset scenery. The next morning, there is still a chance to watch the sunrise. The driver is a capable young man who gets along well with the guests. His vehicle is very comfortable. Anyway, I recommend this event.

5.00Fantastic tour and one of the highlights of my time in Kyrgyzstan. Everything was well organized from start to finish, and the guide made the experience both fun and informative. The scenery around Song Kul Lake was absolutely stunning, with beautiful mountains, open grasslands, and a real sense of Kyrgyz nomadic life. I especially enjoyed the horse ride and the overnight stay in a yurt. A great experience for anyone wanting to experience Kyrgyzstan’s incredible nature and culture.

5.00⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ An absolutely magical experience and the highlight of my Kyrgyzstan trip. Song Kul Lake is breathtakingly beautiful, and staying in a traditional yurt under a sky full of stars was unforgettable. The tour was well organized, authentic, and offered a wonderful glimpse into nomadic life. Highly recommended!

5.00Our guide was really friendly and knew the roads well, he took us along particularly beautiful routes and would stop along the way so we could take photos. And the views truly were beautiful, some of the best I’ve ever seen. Burana tower was cool. The yurt camp was really fun, quite a comfortable stay as they had heating in the yurt till 10pm and a restaurant yurt where food and tea/coffee were served. I enjoyed the horse riding along the shore of the lake, again some great views! Overall the trip was well paced - we stopped at a cafe/restaurant for lunch each way - and thoroughly enjoyable, an excellent option for those travelling Kyrgyzstan on a bit of a budget and very good value for money. Highly recommend if you want to see the stunning Kyrgyz mountains!

5.00Just do it! 😂 What a trip! Excellent way to see some of the best of the best for this amazing country....from breathtaking pictures across the valleys or driving above the snow line over 3500 meters on jaw dropping roads. The camp was excellent with very tasty home cooked food, toasty yurts and you get to have two hours riding horses!! What else do you need? Guide was thoughtful and very helpful to explain things and also allowed for many photo stops along the way. One of the best, if not the best activity you can do in Kyrgystan!

5.00It was a great tour! The guides were really kind and always thinking about us and moving forward, so we felt safe. The Eagle Show was also very powerful and an unforgettable experience. It was raining on the second morning and I thought the horseback ride I was looking forward to might be cancelled, but the guide adjusted the schedule and changed it to the afternoon. Thanks to that, it was sunny in the afternoon and I was able to experience horseback riding safely! I really appreciate the flexibility they've been able to provide. It was a really great memory!

5.00Wonderful tour to see the beauty of the Kyrgyz Republic! Tariet was professional, knowledgeable, and ensured your safety the entire time. Must take this tour! Just be advised, it is a lot of time driving. Song Kul is 5 hrs away from Bishkek. But well worth the trip!
It was a hard tour with a lot of trekking, but it was great because I was able to experience a lot of beautiful scenery and unique Kyrgyzstan
