Learn to surf at Surfers Paradise on the Gold Coast in Queensland, one of Australia's most iconic surf destinations. With its warm waters and golden beach that streches for 1.9 miles (3 km), Surfers Paradise is the place to learn to surf. You'll learn to surf in waist deep water with fully qualified surf instructors who are also surf life savers. Soft beginner surf board and rash vests or wetsuit are included.

Meet us at our shop on Cavill Avenue, right next to Hungry Jack’s, in the buzzing heart of Surfers Paradise—arrive 15 minutes early, and we’ll get you set. We hook you up with a long-sleeved rashie and the perfect soft-top board, then cruise down to the beach. The session kicks off with a quick safety rundown before we dive straight in, catching our first waves in waist-deep water. After that, we hit the sand for pro tips on popping up like a legend. Then it’s back in the water, where your instructor will be right there, helping you ride wave after wave.

5.00Jack and Louis were perfect! 10 year old boy and 12 year old girl were reluctant. But after instructions from Jack, they were up and surfing in 30 minutes. Had a blast, great instructors and equipment. Highly recommended!!!

5.00We had an amazing time! Highly recommend booking your surfing lessons here! We had a party of 10 and every single one of us got up on the board. Jack and Harriet were fabulous instructors who really took the time with each one of us and helped us get up and have fun!! Definitely book here!!!

5.00We had amazing time learning to surf the instructors Harriet and mark were really good, super friendly and very helpful. They broke it down slowly and explained every step to us. We managed to stand up on the board in 1 lesson 🤩. Thankyou so much great fun highly recommend

5.00Tahou (I think that’s how you spell his name) was amazing! We booked a group session and ended up having a private because we got lucky and no one else was in our slot but wow it was so my fun. The step by step process to enable us to learn to surf was seamless and we had an overall incredible experience full of laughs and learning. Would definitely recommend to someone who has no experience like us!

5.00It was an amazing experience! The staff explained everything well and gave us enough time to practice on the waves! There was also a camera man who took excellent pictures of us thanks to Bora! For this price and the location that is a must!

5.00Taking a surfing lesson has been on my bucket list for years. I was determined to compete this activity in the most perfect place to catch a wave, Surfers Paradise! There were 12 people in our group with 3 wonderful instructors. We spent a fair bit of time on the surfboard on the sand, learning the correct techniques to get on the board, placement of hands and feet and then steps on how to stand up. As a 62 year old woman, it was a challenge but the instructors were very helpful. I will definitely try it again one day!

5.00Jack was great. Had an amazing time. Surfed many small and medium waves. Surfed one very big wave. The theory he and the instructors teach is by a margin the best. Great experience.
