Enjoy your port time in Skagway with a full-day shore excursion by mini-bus into the Yukon, Canada's westernmost territory. Explore some of North America's most stunning wilderness, and stop at Wild Adventure Yukon for lunch. Lunch is BBQ chicken with sides of roasted potato, coleslaw, rolls, homemade donuts, tea/coffee (Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten free option of lentil curry is available as alternate). Included are a Wildlife Taxidermy museum with over 100 Yukon and Arctic species and recreations of Ice age animals. Historical Gold Rush and Canadian Mountie display also included. Onsite is a sled dog camp where you can see the huskies preparing for the Yukon Quest race. There is also a petting farm with animals to interact with and gift shop. Be prepared to stand in awe of natural beauty of southeast Alaska, British Columbia and Yukon Territory on this Skagway sightseeing tour.

For non-US/Canadian citizens a USA and/or Canadian Visa may be required (no copies). You MUST confirm and obtain any Visa requirements prior to the tour. All Visa requirements are the sole responsibility of the traveler
Children 15 or younger must bring a Passport (or if USA or Canadian citizen can bring an original/certified birth certificate-no copies). Children 16 and older and all adults must bring original valid Passport. If one or both parents are not traveling with their child, a notarized letter of authorization from the absent parent(s) is necessary to enter Canada
At time of booking, Cruise ship passengers must provide the following information: Cruise Ship name. If not on a cruise ship please contact the operator for meeting instructions.
Vegetarian/Vegan/Gluten-free option for lunch is available, Driver will take orders at start of the tour
Pick up location: Look for a representative holding a FRONTIER EXCURSIONS sign. Please be 15 minutes early. Please bring your Passports. For Broadway and Ore dock, meet off the pier where the dock meets land just outside the security gate next to a large parking area. For the Railroad dock, there are two docking positions. For ships tendering to the small boat harbor, walk up the ramp after disembarking the tender and look to your left for Zone B meeting area. If you are taking a shuttle bus off the pier from your ship, once you get off the shuttle bus look to your right for Zone B. Zone B is near Skagway Fish Co.
Not scooter accessible. No battery operated equipment can be loaded onto buses. Collapsible wheelchairs or Walkers can be accommodated providing the passenger is accompanied by someone who can assist them to board and disembark. Passenger must be able to walk some and boarding bus requires a few steps. YOU MUST INFORM OPERATOR IF ARE BRINGING A COLLAPSIBLE WHEELCHAIR OR WALKER.

Amazing tour with awesome guide

5.00Originally booked the White Pass rail excursion. Switched to this because I wanted to see the pretty lakes and this is cheaper than renting a car. The best decision I've ever made. The scenery was incredible. You get to see things you don't normally encounter during train trips (e.g. wildlife). Also the chance to just stop near a lake to take photos, walk around, and/or do some rock skipping, or stop in town for some ice cream and coffee. We've had all these, and the trip still cost less than train ride. Lunch is included in tour (dhal for vegetarians and BBQ chicken for carnivores). Also Frontier was great. I had an issue with my reservation early on and they resolved it quickly (emails were replied within the same business day). And I'm quite convinced by now that tour companies should hire people with broadcasting background as tour guides cuz Mike was AWESOME. He's fun (comedic timing on dad jokes lol) and knows his stuff, also takes good photos. Hands down the best tour guide, bar none. The only bad thing about the tour (which is not even Frontier's fault) is lack of good restroom. There are outhouses throughout the Klondike highway, which is a no-no (porta potty looks hell lot nicer compared to these). The guide will warn you to go to the restroom before heading out to the highway (both ways) and you better listen lol. The journey is about 2 1/2 hours each way so it should be bearable without bathroom break, but if you think your bladder is not up for it, maybe consider train trip (sadly). Would I choose this company again for a tour next time I'm in Skagway? (Which might be soon) Heck yea. 1000%.

5.00The tour guide was highly entertaining, seeing the sites, and experiencing Carcross ice cream was awesome. Definitely try a beaver shot at lunch!
So much better than the train excursion, flexibility to find wildlife

5.00We were absolutely delighted with our excursion with Frontier and our driver guide Connor was a very intuitive and knowledgeable, friendly person who is a true nature lover. He was a careful driver, respected the wildlife and assured us that we would make our all aboard time, and we did. We saw moose, bears twice, mountain goats and lots of other animals at our lunch stop, the bbq chicken was deliciously home cooked and enjoyed after a week of restaurant food on our cruise. I spoke to several people who did the train and they were very envious of our sightings and experiences. Skagway is better seen with some flexibility, and Frontier Excursions small group (23 on our trip) is a real experience of Alaska and The Yukon.

5.00What a delightful day! Connor, our tour guide, was knowledgeable and oh so patient when it came to the stops throughout the day. Our family was in awe of the landscape and the kids kept asking "is it AI?!" because none of it looked real. We passed through three biomes, veered off to see a wild moose when a passenger spotted one, got to play with snow (and then sand) and ate solid food. If you are only in the cruise port for one day, this was a WILD and amazing way to see the Yukon. We even had enough time left over to go into the downtown area and look around.

5.00Our tour guide Conner was the best guide we have ever had. Humorous, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, attentive, and just always making sure everyone was accounted for. The Yukon was absolutely amazing and beautiful should be on everyone's bucket list.
