The first stop on the tour is home to the historic Welcome to Sequoia National Park Sign and a trail that leads down to the river. If you’re not in the mood for a hike yet, the view from the parking lot is amazing on its own.
Foothills Visitor Center
The Foothills Visitor Center is a great place to get even more of an idea about what the day ahead has in store for you. It features common visitor center finds like a souvenir shop, displays about park history and wildlife, restrooms, and a water bottle filling station.

Great Audio Tour!

5.00This audio tour was wonderful. We called our "guy" Audio Bob and he was great. We got the America The Beautiful Pass to enter the Park which we would also recommend (although our wait was only a few cars as it was early June). There was just enough background information given to explain what we were looking at and the history behind the various sites we were seeing. We also loved the music and we saw everything we wanted to see...and more! The App was easy to use and we will definitely use again in the future. Thank you!

4.00You really need to emphasize that this needs to be downloaded before you get to the destination because Wi-Fi is often not available or if it is it’s very slow. My phone was unable to download it even when I found free Wi-Fi at the park. Luckily my daughter’s phone was able to do it in about 10 minutes.
