  Awesome tour! We enjoyed the boiling mud pits the best. Even if it's raining, be sure and walk down to see them. The waterfall is amazing, as expected. I lived the drive and seeing so much of the countryside. Our guide was very informative.

  The views were incredible! The bus driver got us to and from safely. The bus was comfortable and the windows were clean so you could see out of them and take pictures. The tour guide kept us on schedule. There were bathrooms, for pay, at every stop. There were also options to purchase food at most stops.

  We hope the tour guy can start on time. We have to wait for 30 minutes before starting the tour. Due to 30 minutes shortage, we have to hassle some tour sites and run out of time for toilet breaks. This is first time we use Viator to arrange this tour but it is disappointing. We saw other tour companies provide a voucher for their customers to go to toilet but not Viator. The tour guy does not tell us that we need to prepare money to use toilets and does not give us enough time to use the toilet due to 30 minutes shortage.

  Very informative guide, beautiful scenery, that said we should have been warned about the MILLIONS of midges that swarmed us! Didn’t even get off the bus in a couple of places because of them. Some people knew and had face nets

  This was a fantastic day out, a must’ve you’re visiting Akuyeri. Our guide Graham was exceptional, very knowledgeable & took us places not normally on the agenda as we had time & they were in the area. Brilliant all round!

  The tour was a great value. Clean bus, personable and well-informed guide with a smooth ride The stops are unique and photogenic Easy walks. A sandwich and water handled our hunger. Stop shopping and just book this.

  The description said we would get a sandwich and bottle of water on this excursion. None was provided and the trip was 6 and 1/2 hours long. Plus paying for restrooms and waiting in line for them was annoying. Otherwise our trip was informative. Plus hair nets for black flies should have been given at start of tour.

  This was a great tour, our tour guide Kjarpan Kalman was excellent and very informative. The pick up at the cruise terminal was on time and Kjarpan was very concious of the all aboard time and asked that we all kept to the timings. The Godafoss waterfall was spectacular as was the scenery going around Lake Myvatn. The psuedo craters were interesting and then Kjarpan walked us around the Lava formations and explained how they were formed etc. Short stop to have a sandwich and drink break which was very welcome and close to the Tectonic plates. We were taken to see the Hverir volcanic region of boiling mud pots. In all, a great tour and it was fantastic to see the ever changing spectacular scenery of Iceland. I think we had just long enough stops at all the locations. I would definately recommend this tour, there is some walking involved but it is not srenuous.
