Allen's grandson, Sam, toured us around on a golf cart for about 3 1/2 hrs. His stories about his grandfather's accomplishments were wonderful. The sculpture displays were mesmerizing, even stunning. What an incredible talent!! Many have sold for millions, smaller ones are to be had for a few thousand. His work is on display all over the world. Just in case you don't know it, Allen Houser is an Apache Indian whose art (often bronze) focused on his people. Just stunning!! We also went into the museum which houses a lot of Indian art work, the last known photo of Geronimo, baskets, rifles, etc.

This was a fantastic tour. Allan Houser’s Grandson, Sam, conducted the tour. The vastness of this collection is mind boggling. But more so, the incredible stories and insights that only a family member could have made this tour so special. We were given all the time we needed to view the outdoor sculptures and Sam was so kind and interesting as we peppered him with question after question. His family’s story and the legacy of the amazing art will stay with us for a long time. The paintings, sketches and smaller works in the gallery are also fantastic and because we were a small group we were entitled to visit the archive which is the building that was Mr Houser’s studio. It’s a beautiful place in a beautiful location and highly recommended
