This was the very first restaurant in town and the birthplace of the fishing/charter industry.

Ocean City Boardwalk

Built in 1902 this historic landmark was voted one of the top 10 in USA by National Geographic & the best boardwalk for food by Travel Leisure magazine. We share stories of how the inlet was formed creating Assateague island. We visit the "inlet Brave", the oldest bar in town, public art, firefighter memorial and see a piece of the world trade center. We taste our way though several local places. Total walking is about a mile and 1/4.

We had a great tour; good food and drinks, a savvy tour guide, and perfect weather made for a memorable day. Our guide, Cathey, was fun and knowledgeable about the area and places we visited. The food and drink samples were excellent, we plan to return to them for a meal soon. Definitely recommend this tour and the other tours sound great too.

My husband and I make it a point to take a food tour wherever we travel — and to date, we’ve done more than 25. This one was truly among the best! Cathey was incredibly knowledgeable about Ocean City and its history, and she was such a joy to spend the afternoon with — fun, engaging, and full of great insights. During the foodie tour, we visited a selection of iconic and must-try dining spots. We couldn’t have asked for a better group — it made the afternoon even more enjoyable.
Ocean City in October is a great time to visit. Highly recommend a Foodie Tour to learn all about it and be introduced

A very great experience. I have lived here for 10 years but still learn something new everyday! Cathey is a wealth of information and makes learning so fun. All of the food and drinks were delicious and the restaurant people were kind and generous.

We had a fantastic 3 hours of eating, drinking and laughing with our wonderful guide Taylor S. She guided us to many restaurants and we tasted many delicious dishes and drinks. Taylor shared a lot of the history of Ocean City that was very interesting. We enjoyed it all!

The Boardwalk Foodie Tour was an awesome way to spend our Friday. Food tours are one of my favorite activities when visiting a new city and this one did not disappoint! Paulette (our guide) was an OCMD local (and fellow educator) who was full of knowledge about every tasting location and also gave us an insiders look at OC history. The food sampled at each stop was delicious and was a nice way to try items and figure out where you want to go back to for a full meal! Come hungry, wear comfy shoes, and get ready to have some great conversations!

What an experience! I highly recommend this tour, and particularly, Paulette! She was a wealth of knowledge, personality and fun. There was a great mix of food and beverages along the tour and I learned so much about Ocean City's history, landmarks and life style.

It was such an incredible experience. I loved everything on the that tour. Food was amazing . Paulette our tour guide was excellent, personable, had wealth of knowledge about Ocean city history , fishing history and a lot more, humorous and so much fun . She is professional and to the point.

Four friends headed out for a day of fun on the OC Foodie Tour. It was one of our friends birthday, and the tour was a perfect way to celebrate. We are all locals and were excited to try the tour. From meeting at the Angler and having a welcome drink, it was apparent that we were going to have a fun day! We went to many local bars and restaurants, some were familiar and a few new spots. Along the way, we stopped to hear about local town history and interesting facts. I think the OC Foodie Tour is great experience. It’s a great way to spend the day , whether you have lived here all your life or a first time visitor. Cheers!

This tour is definitely worth the $$$$. We were so full and Cathey the tour guide was awesome. Our tour was intimate. It was just us and another guest. Cathey really knew her history. She knows I’m waiting on a couple of challenge questions I left her with 🤣🤣🤣!! My husband and 19 yr old son thoroughly enjoyed it. This is a MUST! I picked the right tour out of all the others in OC MD. She was very patient with me because I had surgery and have to wear a back brace. So stopping wasn’t a problem for her. We were lucky enough to see the Blue Angels and all others practice for the air show. It was canceled due to rain but we weren’t planning to go anyway. The day was perfect and the tour made it even more awesome. Below are places where we tried the food and drinks: 1. Sand sculptures by Randy Hoffman 2. The Angler Restaurant and Bar 🎏Grouper Fingers and a Goombay Smash 3. M.R. Ducks 🦆boom boom shrimp and crabby pretzel 4. Harbor Inn 🍸 drink called the Whiplash 5. Toast-bruschetta and New York style cheesecake 6. The Bar-chicken cheesesteak and mozzarella stick 7. Thrashers 🍟 Fries with vinegar… No ketchup! 8. Ripley’s Believe It or Not 🐜 Bugs! White Chocolate covered ants! Didn’t taste ants 🙌🏽 9. King’s Funnel Cakes- funnel cake and deep fried Oreos. The owner Danny was my new best friend. He didn’t want me to leave. 🤣 10. Wockenfuss Candies🍓 chocolate covered strawberries and nonpareils. 11. Latte Enjoy-OC Hippie Bowl with açaí, mixed berries, granola, honey, Chia, and coconut flakes, plus a Nutella Frappe 🍌🍍🍏 Surely, we will be back and I pray she is sill the tour guide.
