This historical 5- 6 hour tour is conducted by a qualified Dachau Concentration Camp Memorial site guide. You will be picked up by your guide from either your Munich city center hotel or from Munich Hauptbahnhof(Central Train Station). After your tour at the Memorial site you will return to your hotel or to a location in central Munich of your choice.

5.00Keith did a fantastic job with the history; not only of Dachau but the events leading up to it and the surrounding area. He also gave some good history on the other nations who contributed to the demise of people who were imprisoned at Dachau and other camps. I learned more about this part of history from Keith in a day than ever before. Very well done and mindful of our time and desires within the tour.

5.00After my travel buddy opted out of the tour having been overwhelmed by our tour of Eagle’s Nest the day before, I had the ultimate pleasure of a private tour of Dachau. Keith Finneran, my guide, is a well trained guide and tailored the tour to my wishes. I have seen several concentration camps and Dachau is one of the best preserved. Along with excellent reproductions, well designed information plaques, and an extremely well informed guide, this tour exceeded my expectations. The short train and bus ride after being met at my hotel was very convenient. I continue to be impressed by Germany’s preservation and documentation of this horrific time in their recent past.

5.00Very interesting visit to the labour camp of Dachau, which later became an extermination camp. The guide Eileen was helpful and exhaustive in the explanations, definitely a stop for those who spend a few days in Munich.
Adam’s phenomenal tour

5.00Our guide Adam was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He has studied the history of Nuremberg extensively and actually had a personal interaction with one of the inmates. Because of his personal connection with one of the actual prisoners who survived, he provides an unbelievably personal detailed account of the transgressions at Dachau. If you are an English speaker, Adam is originally from Australia and speaks German without an accent. He met us in the lobby of our hotel and escorted us throughout the whole day with many tips and insights along the way. There was only my wife and I on the tour and it was not only extremely personal but incredibly informational and informative. This was one of the best tours we have ever had in our travels around the world. I have read the reviews on the other guides, but obviously I do not know them. If you are English or German speaking, please ask for Adam by name as he is incredible. Thank you, Adam for an unbelievable experience.
