Top-rated local guide will lead you on a hiking tour along the spectacular coastline of the Killick Coast on the edge of the world - and just outside of St. John's. Tourists will be met with geological rock formations, rugged cliff edges, and untouched beaches. A breathtaking trail to take in birds, eagles, and, if the timing's right, passing icebergs and whales in the summer. Our guide plans for a moderate hike to accommodate hikers of all ages. From the hike, we will take a drive to enjoy a scenic and historical town settled in the 1600’s named Pouch Cove. The hike will take you not just to the edge of the world, but back in time too!

5.00Deneen was amazing. She took us to hike places we would never have been able to find without her. The scenery was so spectacular and it was so private, we only ran into 2 other people during our entire hike.

5.00My time with Deneen was delightful. The time of year and the presence of snow/ice made an actual hike impossible - yet Deneen arranged for us to check out a few nearby fishing villages. She was super personable, kind, very generous and I sincerely forgot that I was even on a tour - it felt like I was talking to a friend. Communication was superb, she picked me up at my hotel and dropped me off at the airport after. My tour with George - her partner - a few days ago was phenomenal. And my time with Deneen was equally as rich. Will definitely be back… when it’s warmer!

5.00Due to weather our tour option had to change, but Deneen created an amazing Plan B. We toured a less traveled coastline of Newfoundland and the views didn’t disappoint. She shared the history and taught us a couple of fun words/phrases to sound like a local. If you’re looking for an intimate and unique tour, go with Deneen.

5.00Very personalized experience. Deneen listened carefully and was sensitive to my possible physical limitations, like sore knees. Very knowledgeable about the area. Newfoundland is more than a rock. Tons of interesting plant life including trees and flowers and berries of all kinds.

5.00If you are ever lucky enough to go on a coastal tour with Deneen, magic will happen from the minute you meet her. She will bring you to the most incredible coastlines and give you insight into the area and you will leave feeling like you made a new friend. I highly recommend her coastal tour!

4.00deneen was great, showed us some nice spots, excellent guide. I think what I paid for 380 for 2 of us was for a hike and lunch and 6 hours as advertised, but got a 1 hour hike, no lunch about 3.5 hours in total. It looks like cost should of been 218, not 380 so not impressed with that.
