Statue Of Equality
The Statue of Equality is a statue of the 11th-century Indian philosopher Ramanuja, located on the premises of the Chinna Jeeyar Trust at Muchintal, Ranga Reddy district in the outskirts of Hyderabad.[2] It is the second tallest sitting statue in the world. The project of building the statue was conceptualized by the trust to commemorate the 1,000th birth anniversary of Ramanuja. Costing an estimated ₹1,000 crore (US$110 million), the project was paid for through monetary donations by devotees in a major part.
Birla Mandir
Birla Mandir is a Hindu temple built on a 280 feet (85 m) high hillock called Naubath Pahad 13 acres (53,000 m2) plot in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. Naubat Pahad which was once also known as Band Rock so called because long ago all official communications from Mughals to the Nizams were proclaimed from this hill accompanied by music. The construction took ten years and was opened in 1976 by Swami Ranganathananda of Ramakrishna Mission. The temple was constructed by the Birla Foundation, which has also constructed several similar temples across India, all known as Birla Mandir.

5.00A place with lot of history and sculpture related to Hindu relegion, we learned many things on the visit of this Statue of Equality, one must visit this place in Hyderabad to understand the city with multicultural attractions. Thanks to Bhaskar for his reference to old stories of Hindu relegion, his knowledge sharing on the subjects. Also thanks to Ramesh for taking us carefully around the places in Hyderabad. 5.00A wonderful place for the spiritual tours in Hyderabad, we have thoroughly enjoyed the place with lot of information on Hindu religion. We spent full-day tour with a delicious lunch at the cafetaria. Also visited Birla Temple. We thank Baskar for his extraordinary knowledge on the Hindu philosophy, also thanks Driver Shashi for taking our group carefully.
