• Not worth the money.

  It was ok. Even though the booking had options for a 4am pick up the earliest we could get was 5am. We were sold a "Skip the Line" pass for 2000INR /person that was not needed if you are a foreigner with a passport. You skip the main line anyways. In fact the guide cannot even go with you. Just stay to the right. There are no electronics or cameras allowed inside. All of the lines are to walk past one small portion where they believe is the birthplace of Lord Rama. The temple itself is made of a bunch of pre fabricated pieces. Maybe once other pieces of the place are opened up it will be worth the trip. The rest of the temples are also underwhelming and very crowded. Overall I was unimpressed. The driver was great! The guide didn't even know which places were on the itinerary till I showed him. While walking around the city he took us through a line that was waiting to get into another temple about 8 people wide. While we made it through 1/2 we got stuck in the middle for a while. And we were very crushed. That was unnecessary and dangerous. After that we were over the crowds and just wanted to go on a boat ride. Though there were less people to get to the boat we have to walk through cows and tons of poop. After lots of negotiation we took a 15 min boat ride in a circle and looked at Gupta Ghat.

  Had a great morning visiting the main temples in Ayodhya. What an experience! Our Jyotiraditya Shuklaguide gave great information on the history of the main temples. Highly recommended

  We recently took a same-day tour from Lucknow to Ayodhya, and it was truly a memorable experience. Our guide, Alok, was exceptional, providing detailed insights about the history and significance of Ayodhya at each stop. The visit to Ram Janmabhoomi Temple was seamless, and we were able to have a smooth and peaceful darshan of the Ram Mandir, which was a deeply spiritual moment. The boat ride along the Saryu River was another highlight. It offered stunning views of Ayodhya from the water and added a serene touch to the day. Walking through Ram Ki Paidi was equally fascinating, with its vibrant atmosphere and beautiful ghats. Our driver, Vivek, ensured a comfortable journey from start to finish.   This is a must do when you are in Lucknow. This one day tour was enough to see everything Ayodhya had. With help of guide Shiven, I managed to get inside the Ram Mandir and other temples quickly. This city is still on construction but worth visiting. This is impossible without a guide and when you have one full day in Lucknow, this can be added for sure.
