  Carlos was our tour guide. He is well informed, trustworthy and polite. He drove us to Puerto Plata and we visited numerous places;City Center, Umbrella Street and nearby area. We had an amazing time! We would absolutely recommend him if anyone interested in getting to know the city or want to go on excursions.

  Touring Puerto Plata with Carlos was such a great experience! He was very attentive and flexible, told us to take as much time as we wanted at each stop, and was mindful of the time we needed to be back on our cruise ship. He even offered to take us to locations that weren’t official tour stops. Unfortunately, we couldn’t take him up on those offers since we needed to be back on the ship at a certain time. Carlos was very friendly and talked to us about his experiences living in Puerto Plata, including giving us some insight into Puerto Plata and the Dominican Republic’s history. We felt as though we were exploring with a good friend!

  This private tour was AWESOME! Carlos was a great host to his city and showed us everything described in the tour description and more. We loved being able to see all the top spots in town while also not feeling rushed. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting for the first time or looking for something private.

  Carlos was a great guide and accommodated to our needs. I traveled with my two toddlers and he was very understanding. Took us to a great local spot for ice cream and answered all our questions.   First like give a proper New Orleans hello, Waaaaa . This was the best tour!!! Carlos is the best and kindest and the best tour guide in the DR. He showed us the best time and sites. He is well known, lowkey a celebrity, on the island. He showed us the the coolest sites and have real history to share. I recommend Perez tours and most importantly Carlos.   This excursion was really good. The tour guide, Carlos, was exceptional! He was on-time, courteous, knowledgeable, and personable. It was a very cost effective low experience to see a lot of the area.

  Carlos and his team was absolutely fantastic. My wife and I did this tour while on a cruise with Norwegian Luna. The driver and guide was Anyer. He was fantastic and quite knowledgeable and spoke English fluently

  We had an amazing experience with Carlos Perez as our tour guide in Puerto Plata. He picked us up from right outside the cruiseport! He took us to several unique locations that aren't typically included on standard excursions, which made the trip feel much more authentic and personalized. Carlos was incredibly knowledgeable and answered every question we had about the area, its history, culture, and local life. Introduced us to hidden gems of local artistic culture and cuisine along with amazing landmarks. Felt completely safe the entire day! And he was very cognizant of timelines and ensured we made it back in time to board the ship! His friendly personality and passion for Puerto Plata made the experience even better. If you're looking for a tour that goes beyond the usual tourist stops, I highly recommend Carlos Perez. He helped make our visit truly memorable! We enjoyed every minute! Wish we had gotten more photos with him but he was taking pics for our group! Definitely can't wait to come back and see him in Puerto Plata 🇵🇷
