The Bender family continues a 50 year tradition of traveling in open air style safari vehicles north of Corolla along the ocean and sand dunes on a 2 hour, small group, excursion sharing history and ecology along the way. We stop for several photo opportunities and points of interests along the way, as well including private access to the Wild Horse Conservation Area. This tour also includes a professional and knowledgeable horse guide to educate you on what you are seeing. Choose from one of 3 departure times when you book.
The maximum will be TWELVE (12) people.
If you have more than 12 people please call us directly for accommodations.
We will NOT be able to allow any children UNDER 45 POUNDS on the tour.

Please read all of this carefully. We cannot accomodate kids under five years of age or 40 pounds, if you do not read this and you arrive with kids that don't meet these requirements, we will be forced to tell you that they can not come and as parents ourselves, this breaks our hearts. Please read all instructions.
We are not responsible if you get stuck in traffic. Being stuck in traffic does not warrant a refund. Traffic is common. Please allow time to arrive 30 minutes prior to the time of your tour.
No children under 40 pounds can come on the tour whatsoever.
Adult pricing applies to all travelers 13 years of age and older.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Bring drinks, just no alcoholic beverages or glass containers.
Dogs have been asked to not be brought on tour by the Corolla Wild Horse Fund. Registered Service Animals only.
Any changes or amendments to bookings, including number of persons, date, time, or discounts must be made through Viator. Corolla outback adventures cannot amend reservations without a request from traveler made to Viator.

5.00Gregg was our guide. Was very knowledgeable, friendly, and kind. We saw many horses. Was the best experience. As we went along the beach Gregg also stopped a couple times to let bystanders know the rules or remind them so they wouldn’t get fined. Was very kind in how he did so. Learned a lot about the towns and horses history, how they survive. Will definitely be back next time with our daughter. Was a top highlight of our 10 year anniversary trip. Thank you Gregg. I tried to upload the amazing photos I took with my camera but said error. Maybe has to do with format. They are incredible. Could only upload ones my husband took with his phone. Sorry

5.00Seeing some of the horses was amazing, our guide was very friendly and informed. Interesting to see how much the area has bee developed since I last visited in about 1995. Glad the horses are protected.

5.00Loved getting to see the horses and our guide was great. It was very bumpy and some of our crew has back issues but made it thru. Also, bring long sleeves, it gets windy!

5.00Great views from the bench seats. Crag did a fantastic job of finding horses and giving photo ops. He also gave a great history lesson about the horses and Corolla
