10:30 - 12:30 Visit of The Caen Memorial and Museum, located in the British Sword Beach sector. Caen Museum is the best World War II museum in France. You will get an overview of the battle of Normandy as well the sense of the personal lives of the people who took part in it. An excellent 19-minute film documents this battle with original historic footage. 12:30 Departure to Arromanches-les-Bains. It takes about 0,5 hour (30 km) on the national roads crossing beautiful countryside and small villages.

Our guide David was fantastic. He was attentive and cared about what we were looking to accomplish. He had insights I had not thought about and was an absolute fantastic guide. Highly recommended.

Our guide, David, and our driver were fantastic. They always put our interests first. David’s knowledge of the history, the nuances, the backstory was so enriching and made the trip so much more valuable. I highly recommend this trip to anybody who has curiosity or a passion for World War II history It was a life-changing event and I couldn’t recommend it more.

This day trip was well worth the money ! Gilles Lorand was our tour guide ! He was extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Spoke English and French . He took us all over Normandy . We ate at L Ephemere restaurant for lunch and has some Cider tasting ! Gilles made this a wonderful experience for the entire family ! We will never forget this experience!!

A simply wonderful D-Day tour of Museums, Gold beach and Omaha beach with David our knowledgable tour guide and Ivan our impressive driver. Both made our all day tour such a fabulous memory! We learned a lot about how all the allies worked together to end the war. The knowledge David has on dates and countries and what he knew about significant events was enlightening. Ivan gave us a look into french culture and the different parts of the county. He even gave us a Michelin restaurant to try in Eze!

Visiting the pointe du hoc and seeing for ourselves the size of the craters left by falling bombs! All of the museums were outstanding! Our driver and guide were both courteous and polite and informative!
