My mom and I did the 5 day Isle of Skye tour from Edinburgh and we had the most amazing time! Each day brought us to many different stops, but we never felt rushed. We also really loved that we got to spend a lot of time in nature, with options for easy to more moderate walks at most stops. We were lucky to have a small group of six, so we felt like we got a personalized experience that was tailored to the group's interests and needs. The van was very comfortable and roomy with huge windows to experience the beautiful scenery. We can't say enough about our wonderful tour guide, Daniel. Every day we had a clear sense of our itinerary, but there was also some room for flexibility depending on weather and other conditions at each site. Daniel was clearly genuinely passionate about the history, and the landscape around each stop, and very much prioritized everyone's comfort and needs. One thing I appreciated was the pace of information - he shared plenty of interesting overviews of each site, but also knew when to let us quietly enjoy the scenery. I really appreciated the good communication and the pace that he set. I would highly recommend this tour and can't wait to return to Scotland!

I absolutely loved my 5-day tour with Scotland's Wild! We left Edinburgh on a Tuesday morning, and the rest of the week was a delightful whirlwind of activities and exploration all over Scotland. Each day we visited three or four different places in Scotland. Our guide Matt provided detailed information about each of our main stops and was happy to answer questions while we were on the road. He even made a special stop for a few minutes at one point on our tour at the Royal Commando Memorial just because I noticed it out the window on the side of the road. I was so grateful that he was willing to do this! The small group tour size (there were 6 of us on my tour) was one of my favorite parts of this tour. We all fit very comfortably in the van and could interact directly with the others on our tour and with our guide. There was a good balance of time spent in the van driving through breathtaking scenery as well as time outside the van exploring the landscape and different castles and sites of interest. By the time we arrived back in Edinburgh on Saturday evening, I felt like I'd been able to experience so much of Scotland in five days because of the thoughtful structure of each day of this tour. I'd definitely recommend Scotland's Wild to anyone who wants an interactive experience of Scotland that allows you to talk directly with your tour guide and explore the beauty of Scotland at a structured -- but not rushed -- pace. Overall, this tour was an amazing deal for the price I paid. Though it doesn't cover every expense (food, accommodation, and most excursions need to be booked outside of the tour cost), the experience with our guide and the lovely scenery we were taken through all over Scotland was absolutely worth every penny I paid. I would absolutely take a tour with Scotland's Wild again!

I have been putting off writing this review because I really wanted time to get it just right. However, I am not sure if I will ever have the time to express just how wonderful this tour was. We recently did a private 5-day highland tour using Scotland's Wild. From first contact they were helpful, cheerful, professional and excited we were booking with them. Their technology for the itineraries is very cool. But the real magic came in when we met our guide, Matt, for the first time. First, to have a van to ourselves for 5 days was AWESOME! Our itinerary was built just for us and our interests, which was also great. But Matt DELIVERED. They did a great job in selecting someone for us that was very compatible. He took such great care of us and really became a friend. From little treats in our seats when we came back from tours, to a nice clean van every morning. His driving was also impeccable. I felt safe and cared for every step of the way. We are so glad we splurged on this trip because it allowed us to enjoy and immerse ourselves in our vacation, and enjoy each other. Plus, we now know Matt, and we know what a great company this is which are both two very great things!

We had a really great trip. Jim, our guide was amazing. He took great care of us and was very knowledgeable. He gave us lots of space to explore on our own but was always close by if we needed anything. The tour group did all the work for us, even surprising us with dinner reservations in busy spots. All of our accommodations were wonderful. It was a magical trip and we would definitely use Scotlands Wild again.
