This was my first tour with Rabbies, and it was a very good experience. Pick up at the AC Sesto hotel was on time and easy. There were 13 guests total and our guide (Christina) and driver (John Carlo). The van was a Mercedes and was very comfortable with power outlets and a/c vents at each seat. Christina was very knowledgeable about all the areas we went to and through, and it was great getting history and information on everywhere we went. She also adjusted the tour slightly at a few times to avoid traffic issues and to spend more time at more interesting places; this was appreciated. The pace of the tour was perfect, with adequate time at all the stops and not having to get up too early each day. John Carlo did a great job driving, especially navigating the narrow roads through the Alps. On our last night in Interlaken, we had a group dinner at a restaurant Christina recommended, and it was a fun experience with the entertaining owner (who played an Alphorn on the street), and good food too. The hotels were mixed; two were very good but the one in Interlaken was rather spartan interior and no air conditioning (which was needed given unusually hot conditions for the time of year). The hotel in Lausanne was the best and was right next to a subway entrance that was a must use given the steep hill. All breakfasts were more than adequate with plenty of variety. The only hiccup was on the second day as we were heading back to our hotel. The bus broke a fan belt and we had to wait for about 1 and a half hours for a replacement bus to arrive. I understand that mechanical things happen, and this issue was handled just fine and within a reasonable amount of time, so all good. Overall, the places visited were all very interesting and well worth seeing. Can highly recommend this tour.
