Join our 6 hr expedition in our open vehicles where we share lots of history, geography, culture and some bajan humor as we make our way around the island exploring beautiful sites. 5.00We had an amazing experience with Island Explorer Tours in Barbados! Our tour guide, Mario, was absolutely outstanding. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the island's history and culture, funny, charismatic, welcoming, and made the entire day so much fun. His passion for Barbados really shines through, and he made everyone feel like family. Mario also shared excellent recommendations for places to visit, eat, and experience during our stay, which we truly appreciated. The refreshing rum with sorrel was delicious, and his wife's homemade treats were absolutely amazing—they were the perfect snack and such a thoughtful touch! This tour was one of the highlights of our trip, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. We highly recommend Island Explorer Tours, and if you have the chance to tour with Mario, don't hesitate—you'll have an unforgettable experience!

5.00This was such a highlight of our trip. Scott, our tour guide, picked us up early, and proceeded to give us a tour of the island of Barbados. Scott was extremely knowledgeable of Barbados’ history and culture. He was extremely funny and personable. He was also great a taking pictures for us at different stops along the tour. The views were breathtaking. I highly recommend this tour, and if you can get Scott it’s an even added bonus. Btw, the food on the tour was really good.

5.00Mario took us out for 6 hours of detailed knowledge of Barbados. Couldn’t have asked for a better tour guide. He was just full of interesting information of the island. If you want to get a real feel for Barbados away from only the resorts and beautiful beaches, I highly recommend this tour. We got to see the whole island. We also had a tasty lunch at a beautiful stop and a traditional rum drink and delicious homemade coconut and banana bread and other sweet treats. Overall definitely worth it! Highly recommend!

5.00Mario our tour guide was awesome. This tour definitely worth the cost. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, friendly. His stories were fantastic. The snacks, lunch & rum were great. Mario also took some amazing photos along the way, which he put on their website and we were able to get for our memories - free of charge! If you want to see the Island and learn its history - this is the tour for you. Hotel pickup & drop off is included in the cost

5.00We recently took an island tour with Island Explorer Tours and had an absolutely fantastic day. Our guide, Scott, was exceptional from start to finish. His knowledge of Barbados, its history, culture and local traditions was impressive, and he shared it all with enthusiasm, humour and genuine passion for the island. The tour was well organised and gave us the opportunity to see some of Barbados’ most beautiful sights while learning so much along the way. Scott made everyone feel welcome and ensured we were comfortable throughout the day. A lovely touch was the selection of locally produced snacks provided during the tour, which gave us a taste of authentic Bajan treats. The rum and sorrel refreshment stop part way through the day was particularly welcome and much appreciated, especially in the Barbados sunshine! What really set this tour apart was Scott himself. His friendly personality, local knowledge and attention to detail made the experience both enjoyable and memorable. If you’re visiting Barbados and want to experience the island beyond the usual tourist spots, I highly recommend Island Explorer Tours. A truly excellent day out and one of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Scott!

5.00There is no other way to see the entire island so efficiently. Great way to have a look where we’d want to come back and stay next. Both the pickup and drop off were seamless. The lunch was excellent, local flavor literally and figuratively. Family travel is sometimes tough with teen boys! but they loved the tour. Our guide Scott was professional and relatable, he kept the boys engaged and interested. Highly recommend.

5.00Scott was an awesome guide! He was very knowledgeable, full of dad jokes and brought us 4 different treats to sample. He also took pictures of us which were later shared on social media. The only thing that I didn't like (nothing to do with Scott) is that the windows weren't really big enough to see some of the sites especially if they were on the other side of the truck.

5.00Have to be the absolute best tour i have ever taken of an island bar none! Scott was knowledgeable, funny and kept us explorers engaged through the entire trip. I absolutely love the drink and snack we received, the lunch was magnificent. Definitely a tour i will never forget

5.00this tour was awesome Scott our guide was knowledgeable and so funny laughs all the way ..took us to some off the track locations with great views ...Great rum cocktail, locally made snacks and Avery tasty Bajan lunch...overall great value and lots of fun
