Great and interesting museum. Alexander our guide during the "tasting" did a great job. We had a lot of laughs and did not make it to the end..... Go there and experience your self and ask for Alexander.

Great fun experience. Many interesting facts about different "dishes" and their separation. The tasting at the end was very challenging for all the peppers. Our supervisor Alexandre had a lot of compassion for our perseverance and a good dose of humor we laughed a bit. highly recommended.

Absolutely amazing experience. We are the two English guys Adam and Matt. We completed the taste challenge at the end of the visit especially the chilli tasting. The guy host at the start of the challenge was interactive and then the woman who continued our experience at the end along with the chilli challenge was very engaging with us and wanted to see my pictures from our trip to Scandinavia. Hugely recommended and shout out to all the staff 10 out of 10

Spent an hour here looking (and smelling) all the foods on display and then trying 20 different disgusting foods at the tasting bar. My 12 year old son loved this and those who get to complete the challenge can spin a wheel to win a prize. He won a t-shirt so was very happy. Plus he enjoyed tasting everything!!

Sara and Amanda were so lovely, welcoming me and my friend and explaining how everything works. When we arrived to the tasting part of the experience, they really made it fun and interactive. My best friend and I agree it was one of the most memorable experiences of Malmö and an absolute MUST-SEE!!

Me and my friend went there together. It was a fun experience, both around the history / exhibition but also the opportunity to taste and smell the food. Funny! Recommend anyway!

It’s just a bar where you can try certain foods, not sure what I was expecting but not quite that. Throughly enjoyable though and the girls working there were all lovely. My kid is 10 and had a great time completing all the challenges!

Visited this museum with some locals that hadn't been to this museum before, and this was a different experience than the normal museums and exhibits I have been to. The name doesn't lie, in this compact area they have filled it with disgusting food replicas and information, as well as categorization of the food from all over the world. There were also smells for some of the food items, and even taste samples for some of them (of course when you visit Sweden, you HAVE to try the surströmming)! The staff is very helpful and knowledgeable, and with an affordable price (around 250 SEK per person at the time of writing) and central location, it is well worth a visit. Combine it with a lunch at one of the nearby cafes or restaurants, and it will take a good portion of your sightseeing day. For the museum itself, set of about 1 - 1,5 hours to get the full experience. We visited in April (during Easter), maybe not peak tourist season, but it was still a good number of people there, but not crowded, so we could read all the different information pieces without time pressure. This may not be suitable if you have a sensitive stomach, but toilet facilities and barf bags are easy at hand. Taste tests and smell tests are optional.
