Day 1: Trivandrum: Pick up from Trivandrum Airport and transfer to your Guest House in Trivandrum .Afternoon guided sightseeing in City Kuthiramalika Palace ,Padmanabaswamy Temple (Can be seen only from Outside) etc .Overnight stay in Trivandrum Day 2: Trivandrum - Aleppey: After breakfast, take a 03.45-hour transfer to Aleppey. On arrival, check-in and get a later motorboat transfer to your houseboat which will cruise through the backwaters and village areas of Aleppey. All meals served onboard. Overnight stay onboard. Day 3: Aleppey - Thekkady: After breakfast, check out from Houseboat by 09.00 and take a 4.30-hour transfer to Thekkady. If interested, you may go for a spice plantation visit, enjoy a martial arts show, go boating on the lake, or get an Ayurevedic massage (at own expense). Overnight in Thekkady. Day 4: Thekkady: A complete day to take part in activities (subject to availability) in Thekkady, such as a nature walk, bamboo rafting (at own expense), etc. Overnight in Thekkady Day 5: Thekakdy - Munnar: After breakfast, transfer to Munnar for 3.30 -hours. Rest and relax for the day.In the evening watch a live Kathakali dance show at Munnar Town . Overnight in Munnar. Day 6: Munnar: Morning guided sightseeing in Munnar, visiting a tea plantation for a short walk, a tea museum, the Mattupetty Dam, etc. Overnight at Munnar. Day 7 : Munnar - Fort kochi After Breakfast ,transfer to Fort cochin (approx 04.30 Hrs) . Afternoon guided sightseeing visits the Santa Cruz basilica, St Francis church, Chinese nets, Jewish town, etc. Overnight in Fort Kochi. 5.00We did a private 11 day bespoke trip crossing into Tamil Nadu and Karnataka. We did not want a tour guide - but someone who could reliably get us to where we wanted to go. Peter Dalglish made all the arrangements with no fuss and extremely efficiently. Our driver, Mr Babu, was charming, spoke good english and simply could not have been more helpful. Knowledgeable about the country and the countryside, a very good driver, he took us where we wanted to go and there was never a hint of being asked to go to haunts that he suggested. So, I can't recommend Carnival Tours more highly - their help made a great holiday easy, pleasurable and stress free. Many thanks to them all!
