Wake up before the sun for a hike or drive up Cadillac Mountain – one of the first places the sun’s rays hit in the United States. You’ll meet your guide while the sun is still down and head up the mountain’s summit where you can sip on a hot coffee or eat some tasty snacks while watching the sky colors slowly change. After sunrise, you can visit some of the park’s most popular spots before the crowds and return by late morning! Please note that tours may last 4-6 hours, and pickup times may be as early at 3:30am in the summer!

5.00Asher gave us a great tour. The sunrise was stunning (as was the coffee). Breakfast at Jordan’s was delicious! Asher’s knowledge of Acadia’s highlights, trees and plants, and geological history was impressive. We were thankful for her awareness of and kindness with my mobility issues and my husband’s gluten free needs!

5.00With the government shutdown, we weren’t able to go up Cadillac, but Kiki did an amazing job making the most of our experience. I highly recommend Good Trip and Kiki!!

5.00My friends and I went to see the sunrise on Cadillac Mountain as part of the half day tour this August 2025. It was spectacular! Kiki was our personal guide, and she was awesome! From the minute we met Kiki there was a special connection! Her personality and kind nature were the perfect addition to our group. Kiki brought us to different areas of the park and entertained us with facts and stories about each stop we made. She was so informative and fun. Her knowledge of the park was so impressive! From the early morning pick up to the delicious picnic lunch, Kiki made our visit to Acadia extra special! We had lots of memorable moments during our trip to Maine this summer, and we all agreed that our tour with Kiki was at the top of the list! Thank you so much!

5.00We had an incredible sunrise experience with Asher through Good Trip Adventures. Asher managed to keep our young children entertained, fed and on the move despite a ridiculously early wake up call :). For us, we were more successful seeing Acadia with a guide because Asher had a lot of insights to offer and was able to handle boring vacation logistics like parking! The kids still talk about how kind/cool/funny Asher is and they really made our whole trip!

5.00Keki, our guide, was a blast. She was knowledgeable and fun. Open to us experiencing Acadia in the way that we wanted. We did the Precipice Trail, Sand Beach, the Thunder Hole and a picnic breakfast. Each activity was so memorable! The Precipice was a fun but hard climb, Sand Beach was great in the storm surge, and Thunder Hole was BIG due to Hurricane Erin. What a day! This trip would have been memorable even without all these special things: Acadia has so much to offer. And the tour offered us an opportunity to do so many iconic things with a guide who could show us the ropes, share the history, and provide an experience we won’t forget. Thank you! Chris and Julie

5.00Asher was awesome! Mother Nature didn't cooperate with our plans - cloud cover prevented us from seeing the ocean during our sunrise tour - but Asher made our adventure so much fun! We sipped hot cocoa while the sun touched the nearby mountains, bathing them in a beautiful pink and orange glow. My 20-year-old daughter and 18-year-old son love hiking and enjoying nature, so after the sun lit up the sky, we explored Thunder Hole, a sandy beach and the rocky coastline. Our tour exceeded expectations, thank you Asher!

4.00We went up to the top at 4 am and joined hundreds of others waiting for the sunrise. Unfortunately, the sky had clouds all along the horizon. It is a must do event because of the beautiful mountain.
