A vivid walk across Bruges.

5.00The tour took about 2h, which went quite fast. There was a lot to see and a lot to hear from Steve. Indeed, he provided a vivid walk along the main spots of Bruges History, never letting you rest from major events, odd architectural features or (many) funny stories about - some presented in a theatrical way, of which you may be part of. Steve has a notorious ability to chat with his walking tourists and to rapidly establish conversation with others should the occasion happen: e.g., a pair of Geocachers or a bunch of northern England passers-by enjoying their stroll. In the meantime, you will taste the real Belgian fries or a delicious chocolate truffle, will enter a waffle-maker shop or a Belgian beer shop, where you may return after the tour. A colorful experience to remember and to recommend.

5.00Steve gave us s great tour of Bruges hidden jems . Authentic Waffles , The Beer Hall devine chocolate and secret little spots along the way . Even his own little hidden lunch spot secluded on the canal . His humour , knowledge of the town and anecdotes made for a memorable experience . Thanks Steve and would recommend this tour to anyone wanting a bit of fun as well as history and knowledge thrown in as well .

5.00What a wonderful tour this was! Compared to other tours , this one is pretty unique, fun and interesting , because Steven ís fun and a one of a kind storyteller with great knowledge. He also shared his good taste in Belgian chocolates and waffles. Loved it!

5.00We did a semi-private tour with Steve, and it was phenomenal! He took us into some local shops, where we tried samples of different waffles & chocolates. He gave us some insights into local restaurants, history and architecture. He's an American who now lives in Bruges, so along the way we met other locals in shops/restaurants who were just so friendly and helpful. We found one of our best dinners because we stopped to chat with some family friend of his. We wish we had planned at least 1 more day in Bruges, because it was our favorite stop on our month long European vacation.

We got a customized tour that felt very personal. It is an absolute must! Thanks to Steve, we have ended up in many special places that you would not normally discover quickly outside the standard tourist routes. Feel free to contact Steve to ask about the possibilities. Good to know: the tour is in English, but for us as Dutch speakers it was easy to follow with a basic level of English. 5.00Well Steve certainly lived up to the title of "Intourtainer". My wife and I had walked around parts of Bruges for two days already (we couldn't join the tour on Day 1) but Steve still showed us hidden gems and places we hadn't seen as well as filling in the history behind all the amazing landmarks. As Steve suggests, the information was delivered more as a stroll with a friend having a chat, with anecdotes and interesting facts rather than a barrage of detail. He's clearly lived and loved Bruges, dropping into the best shops and establishments with a warm greeting to get you "behind the scenes" glimpses. 5.00This is THE tour to do if you want to learn about history in a fun way. Steve is an excellent story teller, weaving in information in a way that's enjoyable to listen to, with etymology of phrases that were enlightening to learn the origins. AND, bonus for kiddos, are the fun ways he engages with them so they don't feel left out. Oh, and don't forget the waffle and chocolate tasting, as well as learning about the local beers. Absolutely the best tour I've ever been on, and would do it again!

5.00Steve is fun! He is knowledgeable and showed us all the interesting sights in Brugge. He gave us tips on how to go about our day and his tours have some delicious tastings. Their his little surprises! We had a great conversations with him and he put us all at ease! No rushing and made it so interactive!
