Not only will you take in the beautiful scenery as we drive from Pub to Pub & around the pubs we visit, you can also get the opportunity to hangout with the locals over a few pints & enjoy some of the best live Traditional Irish Music on offer.

Dublin Mountains Way
Once collected from Dublin city, we travel to The Scenic Dublin Mountains area where we spend the afternoon visiting a variety of charming local Pubs located in the beautiful Dublin Mountains.
Our 1st stop is a cosy friendly local pub at the foothills of the Dublin Mountains, where our small group (Max 15 people) can enjoy the local craft beer or traditional Irish beverages whilst getting to know their fellow pub tourers.

5.00We had an incredible time on Shane's Rural Pub Tour in Dublin! From the moment we arrived, Shane went above and beyond to make everyone feel welcome, comfortable, and looked after. His friendly personality, great sense of humour, and fascinating local insights made the experience so much more than just a pub tour, it felt like spending the evening with an old friend who genuinely loves sharing Ireland with others. As someone from Newfoundland, where hospitality and kindness are part of who we are, I immediately connected with Shane. You can tell he truly cares about every person on the tour and makes sure no one feels left out. That personal touch made all the difference. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Dublin. Whether it's your first trip or your tenth, this is an experience you shouldn't miss. I already know I'll be booking it again the next time I'm back! Shane, I'd like to raise a glass to you and say, "Long may your big jib draw." It's an old Newfoundland saying that means I hope you always have good luck and fair winds in your sails. 5.00My three adult daughters and I loved our pub tour with Shane. He was fun and informative, a wonderful host. We enjoyed pints of Guinness, some Irish whiskey, and cider. The food and music at Johnnie Fox’s were both terrific. Shane taught us some pub songs on the way back into the city center. This tour is great fun and worth every penny!

5.00Had an absolutely fantastic time with Shane , who showed us around some absolutely class pubs on the Dublin outskirts (which are both equally really nice and much better value for money than Temple Bar) A solid thank you to Shane from Keirran and Alex, and we will absolutely one day love to return on one of your tours.

5.00The rural pub tour is a must when visiting anywhere near Dublin. Shane went above and beyond for our small group and is extremely passionate about beer, the area, and showing others a good time. Each pub offered a great range of local options beyond Guinness, and Shane was always eager to tailor his suggestions to suit every taste. Shane even went out of his way to point us to great spots to find music as we reluctantly left the tour! Our first tour with Rural Pub Tours and certainly not our last!

5.00I already have this tour 3. Made with Shane - an absolute must if you are in Dublin. Shane leads the tour with so much passion, wit and charisma that it is an unforgettable experience every time. The tour is entertaining, you get to know your fellow riders, you visit wonderful, local pubs in the surrounding area that couldn't be more original - but you are very welcome! The selection of beers is incredible and Shane helps everywhere and knows an incredible amount. If you have the chance to go on a tour, take it. You won't regret it!
