Visit Algiers Casbah with an experienced Algerian tour guide. Come discover the millennial Medina of the Casbah with its narrow streets and beautiful palaces filled with culture and history. Forts, ruins and many other surprises to see and learn about in a full tour of the old city. While in the Casbah, why not try a traditional meal cooked and served by locals in an old house in the heart of the Medina. This can be arranged by our agency as part of your tour.
NB: Please, note if you book a group tour without lunch, there is a chance of taking a lunch pause of about 45-60min for everyone to enjoy Algerian delights then resume the group tour.

5.00Issam, our guide, is very knowledgeable. He knows his history and how to story tell it! Loved visiting the Casbah so much with him that I booked a full day to visit Tipaza and Cherchell, which have left speechless! The beauty and history of the sites that mix both Roman and byzantine ruins are truly a must! And their contrast with the blue og the Mediterranean see is breathtaking! And with his architectural background, Issam even throws in some nuggets! I highly recommend Vizitina and Issam! And for those who do not know: vizitina literally means 'we have visited' in Algerian darija (dialect).

5.00An absolutely exceptional visit! I have absolutely no negative aspects to share, everything was perfect from A to Z. Our guide was remarkable: very good anecdotes, clear explanations and sympathy that made everything even more enjoyable. We ended the morning with lunch in a house - traditional restaurant, a real treat, the cuisine was delicious. I am French-Algerian and I thought I knew history well. And yet, I learned a lot! That is to say the richness and quality of this visit!

5.00Very nice experience! Our guide was very serious ( Aissa PhD student in architecture ). He took the time to answer all our questions and explained to us the different construction methods of the houses of the Casbah. The tour lasts 2 hours and it is a tour I will not forget.

5.00This was a great way to get a history of Algiers city and how it became the Algiers of today. The casbah is amazing and you get to see one of the palaces which is beautiful. My guide really knew his stuff and answered all my questions thoroughly and patiently 😁

5.00Since I was the only person on the tour I essentially got a private tour for the price of a group tour! The guide was very friendly and informative. He also helped me out with information about how to withdraw cash from ATMs in Algiers as many arent Visa friendly.
It was an experience.
