This is the best activity you can do in the afternoon in Antigua. This tour will take you to 3 mountain tops with incredible views of the city, valley, and volcanoes near and around Antigua. Our first stop is ¨El Cerro de la Cruz ¨ Antigua’s famous lookout point known as ¨The Cross¨. After getting a close-up aerial view of the colonial city, we hop back on the vehicles and head up the El Hato Mountain towards our Second stop. We arrive at our parking lot in El Hato where we hop into our 4*4 pick-up truck which takes us to the ¨HOBBITENANGO¨.
This is a lord of the rings themed Eco-Park where we catch the Sunset and are able to enjoy some food, drinks, and games. Here we will go up the hill and sightsee, enjoy great views and various activities in this enchanted little forest. Once, finished we will head back down the mountain where if you are hungry we can grab some food and drinks at a Guatemalan restaurant located on the side of the mountain called El Tambor.

5.00This was so much fun and a great way to get a lot of beautiful viewpoints of the city without having to hike uphill. Our tour guide was great, very knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions about Antigua, and spoke great English. This event is RAIN OR SHINE! It rained during my experience, but it made it a little more fun, just make sure you wear layers if it’s going to rain because it gets very chilly.ATVs were very easy to drive.

5.00Fun tour! We were a little nervous about driving ATV’s in Antigua, but the starting and ending point was on edge of old part of city and we had no problems! Family of grandparents, daughter and 9 year old grandson, only one who had driven an ATV before. Grandson loved sitting on back of his mom’s! Drove up to Cerro de La Cruz for lovely view of city and then up, up, uo the hill to park before catching a truck/bus up to Hobbitenango! Lovely views, so high up! Grandson loved H….lots of kid things to do, play on, climb. We sat, sipping drinks and enjoying the views! Definitely recommend this tour for everyone!

5.00Estuardo Was an amazing guide and so nice! It was an amazing tour from start to finish would highly recommend!! From riding the ATV to the hobbit and to the amazing food at the restaurant it was a memorable experience

5.00Despite total cloud cover and poring rain once upon a time the mountain, we had a great time. Our guide Alex was informative and friendly, and the small group was great.
Fun ride with friendly people, great views, great tour guide. Overall a great experience I’d do again.

5.00Went with my girlfriend, we were able to share an ATV. It was a good experience after hiking Pacaya. We were able to have fun without doing too much work. Daniel the tour guide was great. Hobbitacango was fun, but if you’re not going to play cornhole or other games, a 1 hour stop is spent. We stayed for longer than that and it was more than enough time there. But overall a great experience.

5.00Such an amazing experience! The Antigua ATV Sunset Tour was absolutely beautiful and so much fun. Diego was an incredible instructor very caring, patient, attentive, and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the entire tour. You can truly tell he enjoys what he does and wants everyone to have a great experience. The views were breathtaking, and the whole adventure felt unforgettable. Highly recommend this tour, especially if you get Diego as your guide!
