Aruba Walking Tours offers the islands' local scoop during a 2.5-hour journey by foot in an interactive and engaging way. This authentic experience takes you to over 30 amazing sites in downtown Oranjestad, while a Local Expert shares fascinating stories on the islands' rich history & culture. Stops are made to visit monuments & museums (when open), sample Aruba's local bites and even for a little shopping on-the-go. During the Aruba walking tour plenty of "photo ops" and even encounters with Aruba's charismatic locals are provided. Making your way through the city was never this entertaining!
The group tour is available Monday, Wednesday or Friday daily. Departure 9.15 am. Meeting time: No later than 9 am. For customized experiences and other departure times you can book a private tour for couples, families and corporate groups.

Fort Zoutman Historical Museum
When open, enter inside the Historical Museum to learn and see Aruba's old fort built in the 1700's. Also climb the old clock tower built in the 1800's for an amazing view of Aruba's downtown.
Wilhelmina Park
Learn about two impressive statues in the Park and also see a large amount of iguana's.

2.00If this tour happened how it was supposed to, it was worth the price, but it definitily wasnt. I am rating this 2 stars only because the parts that we actually experienced the tour guide did explain and he was knowledgeable and nice. However, he arrived late, we couldnt here the first 10 mts of explanation and we were just 2 couples and 2 small kids. He did apologize of his voice but could have been better prepared with something to help or stand us in a quieter location. The two snacks were not from the Coco Plum Restaurant they were from a small place that was not restaurant quality. They were just ok. Dissapointed at the itinerary that way paid for and didnt get. We did not visit the Historical Museum even though it was open and we did not visit the Wilhelmina Park as advertised. This was more of a standing tour where you do a circle and then you are done. Again the tour guide was nice and was knowledgeable in the parts explained but we were not taken to the locations in the itinerary and overall very underwhelming experience. The price is way to much because you are not getting what is advertised/promised. $80 for two plus tip. We could have walked more on our own covered more ground and googled each building along the way if that is the experience we were going to have.

5.00Milton was our tour guide. He was personable and knowledgeable. He shared the history and culture of Aruba. You could tell he loves Aruba. I would definitely recommend this tour.

2.00Food tasting is two fried foods from the same shop. More of a standing tour than walking tour. Tour guide was difficult to hear and understand. Would strongly recommend considering a different option for touring downtown.

5.00Walking tours have become a must-do for me when I visit a new city. I enjoy experiencing the energy on the ground. This tour didn’t disappoint. Our tour guide, Eva, arrived with excitement and her stories about her beloved Aruba. She kept a seamless pace while showing about 10 to 15 tourists a glimpse of Aruba’s history and future, making the experience both informative and engaging. We briefly visited a museum, several landmarks, and an outdoor restaurant to sample Aruban cuisine. After 2.5 hours, I walked away feeling more knowledgeable about the island.

5.00Our tour guide Ava, was lovely and attentive to all group participants. She was filled in interesting stories and historical facts. We learned a lot which is always important to us when we travel. She was also mindful of stopping in shady spots, ensuring all had water to remain hydrated and stopped for a bathroom break.
