5.00This was my second time taking a black taxi tour - I was very impressed both times and felt I had an even better understanding this time. Big Mark took us around West Belfast and did a fantastic job of explaining the history of the area and the Troubles in Ireland. He is able to present both sides effectively without being biased towards either one. I really appreciated being able to learn from someone who experienced the events firsthand and grew up in West Belfast.

5.00Mark was a wealth of information. I had studied quite a bit about the “troubles” prior to visiting Northern Ireland. Marks knowledge and understanding completed the journey of knowledge. There is nothing like hearing the stories from someone who has lived it all their life. You can hear the passion and love for his country in his presentation. If you can only do one thing in Belfast, then do not miss the opportunity to drive the city with Mark.

5.00It’s a fascinating history of the historic conflict in Belfast. I thought I knew about it but I truly knew nothing. The tour guide was unbelievably knowledgeable and did a great tour If you’re at all interested in the history of this region I highly recommend this tour

5.00Me and my family had an awesome experience, with our driver Isaac, whos passion and never-ending knowledge towards this tour was shown towards us all. His kind and caring gestures, with a positive atmosphere, topped off our experience. Filled with new facts and new knowledge to take home. The length of the visit was perfect, didn’t want to leave but had an awesome time! Me and my family of 5, had loads of room in the car, with its extensive leg room and clean interior. Overall would book again, really recommend to any family! Thank you very much, Belfast Black Taxi Tours!

5.00A very comprehensive tour explaining "The Troubles' of Northern Ireland and how is had effected their communities and the coping methods they continue to live with. It was a gripping education.

5.00Couldn't recommend this enough for anyone with an interest in The Troubles. It was fascinating to hear about the history from someone who actually lived through it and amazing to drive through the areas and see the murals, gates and Peace Walls. Our driver, Big Mark, was fantastic. Along with narrating the history of The Troubles he gave us plenty of time to get out and take pictures (and I take A LOT of pictures). Tour was listed as 1.5 hours. He took us out for a full two hours. This was one of the very top experiences from our trip to Ireland and Northern Ireland. I don't think that a trip to Northern Ireland is complete without this tour.
Political History, Murals & George Best

5.00Took a tour around the famous murals on the Falls and Shankhill Roads. Our driver Rob was so knowledgeable and able to answer all the questions we had. It was fascinating to hear the real history of the “troubles” Rob was a great driver and even took us to George Best’s childhood home and grave. Would definitely recommend NI Black Taxi Tours, definitely worth the money.
