Enjoy a drive around some of the best countryside Switzerland has to offer. Start your journey in your private and exclusive Mercedes Mini Van. Let Chris drive you along the Brunig Pass, stopping off at Lungernsee to reach the spectacular Bernese Oberland. From there, choose the spectacular sights you want to visit ranging from the fascinating Aare Gorge which is 1’400 metres long and up to 200 metres deep. The Giessbach Falls are breath-taking as is the 150 year old Giessbach hotel for lunch overlooking Lake Brienz. Take a boat trip over to Brienz and stroll along Brungasse, one of Europe`s prettiest streets. Journey onto Interlaken for a souvenir stop and then go along the Lauterbrunnen valley to see the 300metre Staubbach Falls. Drive onto the Trummelbach Falls and witness waterfalls within a mountain and finally drive up to Isenfluh for some awesome views of the big 3 - Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau or go one further and take the cable car to Sulwald for more incredible views.

Absolutely Wonderful Tour!

5.00Our family (myself, my husband, and our son) had an absolutely wonderful experience touring with Chris from Typically Swiss Tours. From the moment he picked us up in Luzern to the moment he delivered us directly to our hotel in Interlaken, everything was seamless, relaxed, and incredibly enjoyable. Chris is not only knowledgeable, but also genuinely delightful to spend the day with. He took us to sights we never would have discovered on our own, including beautiful viewpoints and hidden gems along the way. We visited the famous Lion Monument in Lucerne, enjoyed a few gorgeous hikes with breathtaking scenery, and had a fantastic lunch at a spot he recommended. What really stood out was how easy he made the entire day—no stress, no rushing, just a perfectly curated experience tailored to our family. We learned so much, saw so much, and laughed a lot along the way. We highly recommend Chris and Typically Swiss Tours. He made our time in Switzerland even more memorable.

5.00From the first email to the final day, everything with Chris was seamless, informative, and exactly what we wanted. Chris was exceptionally great at communicating with us before the trip so by the time we got to Switzerland we felt totally comfortable with the plans we made. Chris customized a two day tour for us, showing us gorgeous scenery and hidden spots around Lucerne and the Bernese Oberlands area. The last day he drove us down to Basel after our sightseeing to catch our river cruise. I can’t rate Chris high enough…he made our trip exceptional.
A Once-in-a-Lifetime Tour

5.00My partner and I took a one-day tour with Chris this past week to the Bernese Highlands. However, I started communicating with Chris last November. He listened to my “wish list” and we continued to modify the tour up until the final day (laugh, Chris, about the cruise vs no cruise). Chris was extremely patient with all my questions and wanted to be sure we enjoyed the 7 hours+ together. And we did! The scenery is spectacular and the many places we went surprised us and contributed to a better understanding of the country. We saw waterfalls (too many to count), lunch at a gorgeous hotel sitting lakeside with a spectacular view, breathtaking mountains, adorable animals, unique small towns, glass and woodworking shops, and magnificent lakes. And throughout the entire day, Chris was a wonderful, funny, considerate guide. He allowed my partner and I to rest when we didn’t think we’d make the hills and presented us with options the entire day to ensure we had the most terrific tour imaginable. We usually book with a private driver when we travel. However, this time we booked with a “friend". Don’t research any more companies—I did it for you—and connect with Chris. You won’t regret it.

5.00I can’t begin to describe the perfect day that Chris at Typically Swiss Tours created for our group of 12. We only had one full day (post river cruise) to see as much from Lucerne as possible. Chris included some of the important Lucerne sites and then whisked us off to nothing short of a “MAGICAL DAY”. We had a glass blowing demo at Glasi Hergiwill , magnificent Mountain splendor in Burgenstock and a “picture postcard” visit to Gissebach Waterfalls. We ended the day with an amazing view of Jungfraujoch in Interlaken. Added to that was a lovely lunch at a Swiss Chalet with excellent local specialties. I am a travel consultant, and I have the opportunity to work with many tour guides in many countries. Chris stands out as one of the best I have worked with. From my 1st communication with him to the actual tour he was so easy to work with. He set a preliminary itinerary, asked about what we wanted to see and do and then set the course for an extraordinary day! He is a great find in Switzerland, and I highly recommend him for all your Switzerland tours whether they be just a day tour or multi day excursions throughout the country. I will be recommending him to all my clients!

5.00We picked Chris based primarily on the excellent reviews he had received. It was the right choice. Chris connected with us ahead of time to gauge what we want in a guide and activities. We gave him input and he created a framework for two days of activities with the flexibility to adapt. It was perfect. The weather cleared for us on day two and we shifted to the high country. Chris was able to bring us to places we probably wouldn’t have seen on our own and some places even other guides may not know about. Chris gets our highest recommendation!

5.00Chris was absolutely outstanding. Just trust him in this tour and all his suggestions. We saw beautiful villages and visited very unique spots. My husband and I truly enjoyed this private sightseeing experience!

5.00What an amazing tour! I have taken many tours in my life, this was the best by far! Chris Wilson was outstanding! I can’t say enough! He went above and beyond our expectations, worked hours beyond what was required, due to construction traffic, just to make our experience special. He took tons of great photos along the way, (he definitely has a photographers eye), and took us to see unique places that were not overly crowded. He had sweet little gifts for us at the end of the perfect day. Our hearts were full and I am forever grateful to him for making our 35th wedding anniversary so incredible! Until next time Switzerland!💚🩵🤍 And there will be a next time!

5.00We had such an amazing time touring with Chris from Typically Swiss Tours. Right from the start, he was so helpful — even before we arrived in Switzerland, he was answering our questions over WhatsApp and making sure everything was easy for us. On the day, Chris picked us up from our hotel and took us to the most incredible places. The scenery honestly blew us away, and Chris’s knowledge of the local areas made it even more special. What stood out most was how connected he was with the towns we visited — he introduced us to locals and gave us insights we never would have had on our own. Chris is such a lovely person and an absolute pleasure to spend the day with. We loved the little unique touches he added along the way, and the fact that he seemed to know everyone at each stop just made the experience feel even more authentic. It really was a once-in-a-lifetime experience and worth every cent. We’d happily book with Chris again in the future and would recommend him to anyone wanting to see the best of Switzerland.
