Constantine is also recognized as Qasentina and it’s the capital of Constantine Province in the northern part of Algeria. Known as the City of Bridges, Constantine is a picturesque and dramatic city located on a plateau 640 meters above sea level, and almost totally surrounded by dizzying ravines with the Rhumel River flowing through. A city enmeshed in history; Constantine was founded by the Phoenicians who named it Sewa (royal city). It was taken over by Numidia who renamed it Cirta, before it fell to the Romans and later named after Emperor Constantine the Great.

Pont Sidi M’Cid
We are going to walk through the alleyways of the Casbah and along the Boulevard of the Abyss where you can see the scenic view of the beautiful landscapes through the pierced gorges until we reach the city’s most iconic symbol, a 175 m (575 ft) high suspension bridge of Sidi M'Cid with the span of 168 m that connects the city to the hill.

5.00If it's allowed, I want to give Funcyellow 6 stars... I normally backpack many countries but, I noticed that tourist visa of Algeria is hard to apply without attending tour so, I contacted around 6 travel agencies. And I found out that, Funcyellow is the only agency that offer decent price ( 30% - 50% ) of other agencies. I contacted them by email and, I told them my wish list. They were so flexiblely and helpfully made a trip plan as my wishes. So, they have a great customer service and, so knowledgeable about Algeria / how to make a good trip plan. I went to Algiers, Constantine, Tipasa, Ghardia in 7days. My feed back after my trip is, First of all, Algeria is so underrated county. delicious food, dinamic great nature, adventure at Oasis village was unforgettable experience. amazingly friendly and hospitable beautiful local people... I had different guides and drivers at every cities and, they are all so lovely, polite, kind, knowledgeable, punctual, hospitable... they made my trip experience at Algeria abslotly outstanding. i really want to thank for Funcyellow team.

5.00I was part of small Bulgarian group visiting Constantine on 24.05 this year. The city is exceptionally beautiful, we were able to see and walk through some of the bridges over the canyon. The views from the WW I Memorial provide a good idea about the city's specific structure. The historical museum is very informative. Our guide Imen was amazing, knowledgeable and very helpful, speaking perfect English as well.

5.00I cannot recommend this tour company enough! We booked a private 7 day trip based in Algiers, Constantine and nearby areas. Our local guides: Zaki, Houssem and Anis were incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Our drivers: Midou, Khaled and Moh were very patient and courteous. Yassine, who organised out trip, made the entire process super smooth and was always very responsive. Algeria is a stunning country full of people who make it feel like home. Will definitely be back at some point!

5.00Islam provided us with an excellent introduction to the interesting city of bridges, Constantine. He escorted to the sites per the tour itinerary and gave us historical information and background to a city he is clearly proud of. Lunch at a traditional restaurant overlooking the ravine complemented the experience. Islam also assisted with onward travel arrangements. Algeria was well worth the visit. I would use Fancy Yellow if returning to the country.

5.00During this tour I was able to visit all of beautiful spots in Constantine. This city is a photographers dream. The guide was exceptional. Her English was perfect and her knowledge of this city was superior. The driver was professional and seemed personable. I highly recommend this tour.

They and their entire culture, made me feel like a guest in their country. Also a shout out to drivers Ali and Abdul, who were professional, friendly, and a pleasure to cruise around with. 5.00Our tour operator, Fancyellow, organized everything perfectly (including great accommodation looking across the gorge at the old town). The tour itself was well worthwhile - a really good mix of exploring the magnificent natural setting, visiting key sites of cultural and historical significance, and getting a sense of the daily life of the city. Our guide, Bilel (aka “Mr Constantine”) was knowledgeable and evidently part of the local community. He even made an impromptu visit to the local cinema for my wife, who used to work in the industry. All in all, a must-see part of Algeria and a great way to do it.

5.00I was met immediately at the airport and had a fantastic day seeing as much of the city as could be squeezed in. I was very well taken care of, and I can’t fault my experience one bit. Both my driver and guide were fantastic, and I’d recommend Fancyellow to anyone visiting Algeria in a heartbeat.
