5.00It was a very interesting and adventurous tour. Our guide Nono (on the jeep it said Bora Bora Explorer) was very nice and took us on really adventurous paths up and down. We visited 3 great viewpoints, including a place where cannons and a bunker from the time period of 1942 - 46 still stood, where the Americans had chosen Bora Bora as a supply center to protect Australia (after the attack on Pearl Harbor in 1941). They also built the road that goes around the island and the airport, which is now used for tourists. Nono told us a lot about the plants and trees during a small hike we took in between until we reached another viewpoint. Overall, we circled the entire island. We also visited a stand where we were shown how the fabrics are printed. I can only recommend this tour; he conducts it in French and English. So, 100% hedgehog recommendation. Gabriele from Germany

5.00Our guide Mana was excellent and accommodating. We had to join the tour late, and Mana took us back to the first stop to give a private recap of what we had missed. Great tour with beautiful vistas, and fantastic service!

3.00We had a knowledgeable and experienced driver in the pickup truck. He mastered steep paths, sometimes in reverse, to the cannons and to Otemanu, about 700 m high.

5.00A very beautiful morning with our great guide, Mata Nono! We toured the island at the pace of various stops, each time with clear explanations about the island's culture, fruits, and different viewpoints. Despite unpredictable weather, our guide was the ray of sunshine. To finish beautifully, we were able to learn how to open a coconut and enjoy a tasting. We recommend it without hesitation!

5.00Amazing tour around the island with beautiful photo stops and breathtaking views of Mount Otemanu. We also visited local shops selling handmade Polynesian crafts and souvenirs. Another highlight was seeing the American World War II monuments along the way. Our guide was fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and made the experience even more enjoyable. A perfect way to experience the island’s natural beauty, culture, and history. Highly recommended!
Unfortunately, this was our least favorite tour on the island

3.00Kind of a fun trip, but this isn't really off roading, or doing anything special at all. They just use a 4x4 safari style vehicle & take you up 3 little hills for the view & then show you around town a little & that's literally it. We saw 2 old cannons & the tour guide wasn't very talkative or personal.

5.00Had a great, albeit short time with Ta’rei as our driver and guide. There are two main viewpoints that they take you up to for great views around Bora Bora as well as some history (WW II Canons). There is a stop at a local tie dye shop plus a few brief stops for pictures and experience. Overall you get a different perspective of the island compared to the resorts.
