Gail will meet you in front of the Summit Jewelry Store and take you through downtown Breckenridge, stopping approximately 7 times to tell you the strange but true stories of Breckenridge since 1961 when we changed from a gold mining town to a ski town. Hear stories of crimes of passion, suspected kidnappings and murder! Cost is $19 per adult

5.00Gail is a great storyteller. I could really tell that she loves Breck and its history. I want expecting to learn about major film connections so that was a nice treat.

5.00Gail is a great story teller. Knows the town very well. Since it was in August, it was nice she always found shade. Enjoyed the tour.

5.00We did two tours over a few days while in Breck. They worked out well as we don’t ski. There was a small degree of walking between stories/stops as we headed around town learning about the towns history. Plenty of stops/rest which worked great for me as I had some altitude sickness going on. Highly recommend.

5.00This tour was one of the highlights from a bachelorette trip! Gail gladly accomodated to our schedules, and all of us were thrilled and captivated by her story telling. The weather was lovely, but a big hot when standing in the sun. Gail took us to stops that had plenty of shade and seating for our group so we wouldn't grow weary!
Gail is clearly an experienced storyteller.

5.00I attended the Strange but True tour with a bachelorette party, and it was easily one of the best highlights. Gail was throughly entertaining, and we all were absorbed in her stories. I ABSOLUTELY recommend her tours.

5.00Gail was the most incredible tour guide and this Strange But True tour was absolutely perfect for our bachelorette party weekend in Breckenridge! Our group had a marvelous time learning about Breckenridge's history and we were absolutely blown away by Gail's storytelling! Would highly recommend this tour for all those true crime junkies out there.
