  It was a perfect experience. I recommend it to anyone who comes to Busan and enjoys art. Jinee is a professional; her drawings are pure art, and she is a fantastic teacher. She has taught me how to mix colors, how to use them, and even recommended a store where I can buy materials to delve deeper into Korean painting. I am truly grateful; I would undoubtedly do it again a thousand times.

  I'm so grateful we were able to take this class. It was just our family of 4, in a tiny art studio run by a lovely art teacher and her husband. They were sweet and mindful and we loved learning here. We have beautiful paintings we can't wait to display at home, and my artist son learned a new painting technique that he was excited to try again on his own. Loved this experience, highly recommend for anyone who loves to slow down, learn something new, and carry a part of Korean art back home with them.

  I had so much fun talking to Jinee. She is extremely talented and charming. I adore my painting and learnt so much about minhwa. I would highly recommend this activity.

  Jinee and Moon were incredible. We had an awesome time! Jinee was so supportive and her guidance/descriptions were great and informative (with some cool anecdotes and facts along the way). The painting process was calm, and such a great idea if you want a little reset on your trip. The class is in a great location and Jinee did a great job at catering to all of us at different artistic levels and ages! I would absolutely recommend this class and would book again! Our paintings are so beautiful and a great memory. Thank you Jinee and Moon.

  Jinee and her husband are very kind, thoughtful, and hospitable. We talked a lot throughout the workshop, so the process was very enjoyable and productive. In the end, thanks to Jinee's help, we also got our own beautiful tiger paintings. You can also buy postcards or other beautiful paintings there.

  The teacher was absolutely adorable, she answered my questions before class via the app's message system. She took the time to explain to me a little bit the history of Korean art and the meaning of each symbol before she started. We discussed my tastes a bit and when I mentioned that peonies were my favorite flowers, she changed the model planned for a peony, just to please me. She was very patient and pleasant, taking me back nicely if necessary and always very encouraging. She was very patient and explained how to handle the different techniques for the best rendering possible. We talked a lot during the class and when I mentioned a music group I liked, she put in a playlist of their music on her own. I really appreciated that tiny gesture. It touched me a lot. I came out delighted with my activity, with a beautiful souvenir, personalized and made by myself. Very proud of my work. This is an experience I particularly enjoyed and I would recommend it without problem. Thank you again for this beautiful memory of my trip =)

  It is a bit difficult to find it so make sure you get very good instructions. The area is unbelievably picturesque. The hills and stairs are treacherous so wear very comfortable sneakers. As soon as we walked into her studio, we knew that we were in a magical place. Jinny is an incredible talent. Her art should be in museums! We wanted to buy everything in there. She was very patient and explained everything and demonstrated and helped with the paintings. She explains the history, the natural ingredients she uses to create the colors and explains the technique. We absolutely loved meeting her and her husband and made a lifelong connection. What an incredible day we had. The paintings are so beautiful and we will be framing them when we get back to the USA. They made our stay in Busan unforgettable!

  Absolutely amazing experience! Highly recommend! Attended the painting class with my 80 year old mother & daughter who is in her 30’s. I believe the class would be great for any age, we all had a great time. Jinee is incredibly talented and a wonderful teacher. We walked out with three beautiful paintings. That can be accomplished by any skill level..Jinee makes it easy! During the class we were served delightful tea and received several fascinating history lessons. 10 out of 10 experience.

• A hidden gem in Busan, fun, relaxing, and full of laughs

  Booked this on a whim and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Jihee and her husband are such a fun duo. She’s warm and patient, and he’s naturally funny and had us laughing the whole time. We were laughing way more than expected for a painting class, which made everything feel relaxed instead of intimidating. The class itself was great because they don’t rush you at all. My sister and I took our time, asked a bunch of questions, and just enjoyed the process. It didn’t feel like one of those touristy in and out activities. Also, the designs you get to choose from are actually Jihee’s own drawings, which I thought was really cool. Each one felt unique and not like copy paste templates you sometimes see. It was definitely worth the trip out from Seomyeon in Busan to do something different. I learned a bit about Korean art history, got to make something with my own hands, and left with a piece I actually want to keep. Would 100 percent recommend going as a small group because it just makes it more fun. Great vibes, lots of laughs, and you might even surprise yourself with what you can create. So worth it!
