The mossy forest is a natural environment that grows only at the highest elevations of Cameroon Highlands and other mountain ranges across Malaysia. At such heights,low-level clouds in the sky driven by winds, blanket the forests with constant mist and moisture - creating an ideal biotope for moss,ferns,lichen and orchids. This moist tropical evergreen forest is also a rich repository for a varied set of montane creatures.encompassing insects,snakes,frogs,birds and mammals unique to this chilly atmosphere.Visitors can explore the mossy forest through a boardwalk 2km before the peak of Gunung Brinchang, begining from a clearing along the main road.

4.00The tea plantation and Mossy Forest were great places to visit but so busy and so many tourists and vehicles. The Strawberry Farm and Butterfly Garden much quieter. Mary, our guide, was a good driver and very informative. Definitely worth doing the tour when in Cameron Highlands!

5.00Why it is magical? It feels like in the LOTR movie 😁. We were hiking up Mount Irau via mossy forest. Recommended. But pls check out the weather. Make sure no rain in a week

4.00Natural rain forest well maintained and have safety features in place. Its a must to here and feel the ambience of silence, fresh air and misty surroundings.

5.00The views were amazing we took a picture of a snake one disadvantage is that there are too many stairs to climb.
