• An unforgettable experience to Cape Coast tourist sites

  The trip to Cape Coast to see all the three locations: Cape Coast Castle, Elmina castle and Kakum National park was amazing. It was one experience that I had longed to have together with my wife since we started planning our trip to Ghana from Finland. The tour driver' experience in providing some very interesting history bits during the course of journey was well appreciated. All the three journey locations were nothing short of a rich history experience for my wife and I. The tour driver did his best to navigate as quickly and as safe as possible to and fro locations but of course, roads under construction and traffic add a considerable amount of time to our journey which is out of the hands of the tour. Though we arrived home the same day, we did arrive later than expected so it is good to know that external factors can easily add another 1hr or more to the journey but our wonderful tour driver (and also guide during travel time), Mr. Patrick, navigated the roads and chose routes that were comfortable and best for the experience. All in all, I will say the tour company care about the whole experience and do everything in the ability to keep you informed before and after the journey through WhatsApp and calls. 5/5 for everything and thank you :)

  Our guide Emanuel was very helpful, communicative, and kind throughout the entire trip. He really went above and beyond to make sure we had the best and safest experience possible. He was very knowledgeable and answered everyone's questions throughout the journey. Our driver, Mr. Set, was also incredible. He got us through wet and bad roads very safely and played great music the whole way through.

  The trip to the Castles and Kakum Park was very good. Everyone enjoyed themselves even though Cape Coast Castle was our second visit.   We booked both the Accra City Tour and the Cape Coast Day Tour, which included Elmina Castle, Cape Coast Castle and Kakum National Park, and had an amazing experience throughout. Wisdom and the entire team were friendly, professional, knowledgeable and incredibly helpful from start to finish. Everything was very well organised, making it easy for us to relax and enjoy the experience. The tours were informative, moving and enjoyable in equal measure. Visiting the castles was a powerful experience, while walking across the Kakum canopy walkway was great fun and a real highlight of the trip. We learned so much about Ghana’s history and culture and always felt well looked after. We would highly recommend Expedition Go Tours to anyone visiting Ghana and looking for a reliable, professional and enjoyable tour experience. 5 stars – highly recommended! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

  Experience was amazing, and partly due to our guide Daniel (who we requested after our awesome experience yesterday), who was super professional and committed to ensuring we got the full experience despite traffic, rain etc. The castles were amazing and the lunch view was beautiful.   My tour of Cape Coast Castle, Elmina Castle, and the Assin Manso Slave River with Expedition Go Tours and our driver, Emanuel, was an incredibly powerful and unforgettable experience. Emanuel was professional, knowledgeable, and made the entire journey smooth and enjoyable. While the day was emotionally heavy, it was also deeply meaningful. Walking the same paths that my ancestors walked before being forced into slavery was both eye-opening and heartbreaking. There were moments that brought me to tears as I reflected on the suffering, resilience, and strength of those who came before us. Visiting the castles and Assin Manso gave me a much deeper understanding of history and a stronger appreciation for my origins and heritage. The experience was moving in a way that is difficult to put into words. I also had the opportunity to connect with others and learn more about the history and culture of Ghana, which made the tour even more impactful. I highly recommend this tour to anyone, but especially to people of African ancestry. It is an emotional journey, but one that provides invaluable perspective, connection, and understanding.   It was a great day out! The visit to the 3 sites was well worth the money. Communitation with the tour company (Expedition Tour - Elizabeth) was very smooth. She was very responsive. The driver (Wisdom) was excelent - great interpersonal skills. Very professional, very caring and patient! The restaurant where we stopped for lunch served the most delicious Ghanaian meals and inexpensive. The tour guides are very pasionate about their work. The information was delivered with such conviction, it was very vivid and very moving. A historical tour! I strongly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Ghana. Its a must!

  We loved the experience. Our driver/guide Patrick was hospitable and super helpful. The tour of both castles was enlightening and very heavy. It’s definitely an experience you will remember. The canopy tour is challenging. Lots of steps and uneven pathways uphill. Wear good footwear and bring insect repellents.
