Explore the Spectacular Coastline from Port Arthur Historic Site to Cape Raoul
With soaring sea cliffs and monumental rock formations, Tasman National Park is a coastal wonderland. Here the waters of the Southern Ocean collide with the towering ancient cliffs of the Tasman Peninsula, creating dramatic caves and arches, ending spectacularly at Cape Raoul, its dolerite columns like steps down into the ocean waters.
The 90-minute wilderness cruise goes beyond the Port Arthur Historic Site to take in the cliffs, caves, arches and white sand beaches of the Tasman Peninsula to Cape Raoul.
Keep an eye out for the cheeky Australian and long nose fur seals that lounge at the base of the dolerite columnar cliffs of Cape Raoul. Look up to witness the sheer magnitude of these 170-million-year-old cliffs, rising from the oceans edge to touch the sky.

Cape Raoul

Cruise past the gorgeous white sands of Safety Cove and the tall dunes of Crescent Bay. Mt Brown provides a stunning backdrop as we cruise past West Arthur Head to Cape Raoul. 5.00Absolutely brilliant fun. Small group size for a three hour boat trip around the stunning Tasmanian Peninsula but this was unlike any boat trip I’ve been on - I swear this was like jet boating on the ocean!! It was excellent fun, we saw dolphins, seals and albatross really close up, as well as stunning scenery. Cannot recommend this enough. The commentary was both informative and funny.

5.00A fantastic day out! Everything was well organized yet relaxed! The crew were really knowledgeable (and funny! High five to Isabell and Dana (our skipper and deckie) their experience was evident in navigating the seas. We saw seals and plenty of birds Jordy was a fantastic guide/driver (5 stars Jordy!) He was extremely knowledgeable about Bruny and just an overall good human! Lunch was superb! Would recommend taking warm clothes for the boat trip!

5.00This tour exceed all expectations! We had a summary day with calm seas. Nick took us out from Stewart’s Bat, looping past Cape Pillar and Cape Huoy before returning to Pirates Bay. His commentary was really informative. We saw the Port Arthur historical sight from the sea, Tasman Island, a blowhole and the amazing cliffs of the 3 Capes. But the best bit was undoubtedly the wildlife. Eagles, albatross, an enormous bait ball which attracted shearwaters, dolphins and seals, and baby seal pups on the rocks. This is a must do experience.

5.00This was a fantastic day out. Our captain, Tom, was brilliant. So knowledgeable and top shelf Dad jokes. His offsides, Ange, was lovely and super helpful. She managed to spot the Eagle up high in the trees. She was so welcoming and was making sure she talked to everyone. They showed us some truly stunning scenery and found so much amazing wild life. We had seals, dolphins, all kinds of birds and even managed to find mountain climbers. Highly recommend this company. This was our second tour with them and both were just fantastic. So professional. So well prepared and made sure it was great value for money of both trips.
