The Zhinvali Dam is a hydroelectric dam on the Aragvi River in the Caucasus Mountains in Zhinvali, Georgia. The Zhinvali Hydroelectric Power Plant has two turbines with a nominal capacity of 65 MW each having a total capacity of 130 MW. Jinvali water reservoir has a unique V shape and water color is also very special with a wonderful views .
Ananuri fortress complex
Ananuri is a castle complex on the Aragvi River in Georgia, about 45 miles (72 kilometres) from Tbilisi. A feudal dynasty which ruled the area from the 13th century. The castle was the scene of numerous battles. Within the complex, amongst other buildings, are two churches. The older Church of the Virgin, which abuts a tall square tower, has the graves of some of the Dukes of Aragvi. It dates from the first half of the 17th century, and was built of brick. The larger Church of the Mother of God(Ghvtismshobeli), built in 1689 for the son of Duke Bardzem. It is a central dome style structure with richly decorated façades, including a carved north entrance and a carved grapevine cross on the south façade. It also contains the remains of a number of frescoes, most of which were destroyed by the fire in the 18th century.

1.00The tour operator did not turn up. No communication whatsoever. We could have booked with any number of operators and we lost a day.

5.00It was a wonderful tour that showed us some of the most beautiful places in the Caucasus. Our tour guide Goga is not only a very skilled driver but also a very knowledgeable and kind guide. He took us on an amazing trip and presented us all the breathtaking locations in an informative and humorous way. We would totally recommend it if you're visiting Tbilisi/Georgia.

5.00I was very happy with the tour and the guide Davide. The Mountains are so beautiful and there is lot to see and explore. Davide was very friendly and flexible and I had always as much time as I wanted to stay in one site. There was never rush. I could also suggest something and he made the effort to realise it. I definitely suggest to do some hiking while in the Mountains!

5.00My driver and guide Lasha was very kind and attentive. I joined the private tour by myself, and he was always happy to take me to spots with great views and took photos of me with my camera. He always answered my questions about the region and the culture there sincerely. The car is very comfortable, and has wi-fi. If you prefer sightseeing in a quiet environment, this tour is for you!
