Nestled in the bustling streets of Singapore’s Chinatown neighbourhood, the Chinatown Heritage Centre comprises three beautifully restored shophouses across three levels, serving as your gateway to the rich stories, spirited culture, and resilience of the community that built this historic district. It is the only place in Singapore that has meticulously recreated the original interiors of its 1950s shophouse tenants, offering an authentic glimpse into the lives of Chinatown's early residents.
Through immersive exhibits, poignant narratives, and vibrant programmes, the Chinatown Heritage Centre brings Chinatown's colourful past to life, showcasing the area's dynamic evolution and connecting its past with the present.

Each ticket admits one person, will be checked at entry, and is valid only on the specified date.
Tickets include access to the Centre’s galleries; queues may be required for entry.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Children under 3 enjoy free admission.
Re-entry is not permitted.
Last admission is at 7:15 PM; late arrivals cannot be accommodated.
Tickets are non-transferable, non-refundable, non-reschedulable, and void if altered or duplicated.
To protect the exhibits, flash photography, food, and drinks are not allowed inside the Centre.
Guests may use their own mobile device and earpiece for free audio content.
The Centre is not liable for any injury, damage, or loss sustained during your visit, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
By entering, you consent to the use of any photographs or videos taken of you on the premises for promotional or commercial purposes.
The Centre reserves the right, without prior notice and without refund or compensation, to change operating hours, restrict access, or close the attraction due to capacity limits, weather, special events, or other reasons.

5.00A must-visit if you want to truly understand Chinatown beyond the surface. The Chinatown Heritage Centre does an exceptional job of recreating the living conditions and daily life of early Chinese immigrants - vivid, immersive, and surprisingly moving. It fills in so much of the history that you simply can’t get from just walking the streets outside. By the time you leave, you see the whole neighbourhood through completely different eyes. Highly recommended.

5.00It was very good, it was interesting to see the conditions in which people lived during in the past and how crowded the housing was. The museum was well laid out, with plenty of information presented in an easily digestible manner.
