Wulong Karst Geographic National Park is the second tour attraction inscribed on World Heritage List by UNESCO in Chongqing, the first one is Dazu Rock Carvings which mostly dedicates the cultural and historic side of Chongqing. This National park pretty much represents the natural side of this enormous city in western China. After Transformer IV was filmed in here, it's now becoming a super hot spot and the very first must go site in Chongqing.

Wulong Karst Geological Park
Get started from downtown Chongqing at 0730, that would helps to avoid rush hour and buy us more excursion time. After 3 hours driving we'll arrive at the tourist reception center. Upon arrival we need to take interior shuttle bus, which is mandatory for enviromental preservation. The ticket for both the national park and shuttle bus should be purchased here. After a 10 min bus ride we get to our primary site-natural born triple bridge. The admission fare covering both Wulong Geological National Parkand the interior shuttle bus ride is 155 yuan per adult. Chongqing-Wulong 192 km 3 hour's driving.
Wulong Tiankeng Three Bridges
Then move to Tiankeng(A giant sinkhole,also named the natural triple bridge), the primary sector of Wulong Karst Geological National Park. It's actually a grand valley throughs 3 ridges with naturaly formed sink holes, look just like 3 huge bridges. It's also the only site listed on World Heritage List by UNESCO. We firstly will take an 108 meters high cliff side viewing elevator to get down to the bottom Then we take a hiking tour through the giant sinkhole links all scenic spots including movie scenes of Transformer IV. The highlight is unique and magnificent natural landscape. The walking takes approximately 2 hours, moderate intensity.

5.00Legend by name, legend by nature! Our guide and driver Legend was simply outstanding — informative, funny, and with excellent English that made every explanation a pleasure. He knew exactly where to stop for the best photos, had umbrellas ready for us, and even lent me his jacket when I needed it. Those personal touches made all the difference. A genuinely wonderful day at Wulong national Park with someone who clearly loves what he does. Highest possible recommendation — ask for Legend, you won’t regret it!

4.00Wu long is a must visit when you are in Chong Qing. Our guide, Legend speaks good English and prioritize safety. He gave great tips for taking the best pictures. Lunch was delicious (sour soup and chicken soup hotpot) and very homely. Be sure to take your breakfast before this tour cos you will eat around 1pm+. Do wear comfortable walking shoes, the walk is around 5k and takes around 3 hours. Easy hike, on flat ground.

5.00I had a great tour with Legend. He is a bit pricier than some other Wulong Karst tour guides, but I specifically wanted a guide who spoke excellent English, and he speaks fluently. He even has a slight Southern U.S. accent from all the tours he has done! He is friendly, knowledgeable, and offers great tips throughout the trip. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for an English-speaking tour guide in Wulong.

5.00An astonishing park and scenery - a good two hour walk at least, more if taking lots of pictures. Facilities available within the park including a small post office. Great to get out of the city for a day and I would consider this trip essential if you are in the area.

5.00Legend did a great job with this tour- he really optimized routes and plans to make for the best experience. He gave us lots of tips and was an engaged tour guide- great person to learn about life in China from someone with super English. Delicious lunch at a local place with fresh ingredients and was thoughtful about ordering foods we would like - but super authentic. The destination was beautiful and highly recommend if you want to see some scenic natural sights near Chongqing. Be prepared for crowds though.

5.00Legend took us on a great trip! He’s really funny and knowledgeable and took us on a great adventure. We explored the 3 bridges at a nice pace and just had time to soak in the beauty. Then we had a delicious hot pot and got home efficiently.

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic day with Legend! Our day trip to Wulong National Park was seamless from start to finish. Legend picked us up right at our hotel, and the journey to the park was comfortable and well-paced. The tour was impeccably organized, and Legend’s excellent time management meant we always knew what was coming next. He skillfully guided us through the busy entrance gates, helping us avoid the crowds and long lines - a true testament to his experience and local knowledge. Once inside the park, we were captivated by the scenery. The mountainside walk, the 360 degree elevator ride down, and the scenic paths on the ground were all breathtaking. Legend kept the experience engaging throughout, sharing fascinating insights and tips while pointing out every perfect photo opportunity along the way. 5.00We had a great trip to the three natural bridges at Wulong, made even better by our guide, Legend. He is not only very knowledgeable, he is conversant in most subjects and responded to all our questions in a professional and competent manner. We felt like we had an insider trip with interesting tidbits about the history and culture of the area,the people's, and the nature. To top it off he took us to a family-run restaurant for some great Chinese hotpot. Oh -- he is also a careful driver who had some interesting comments about other drivers. Highly recommend!
