  Wow .. so glad we decided to access Serenity Tours the Dasheen Couples experience. The view from the restaurant was unbelievable. Felt like you were sitting in the middle of the pitons.. which you kindof were. We customized our own tour and chose to start at Howelton Estates. Very nice gift store with custom made Batik items. The view looking down to Castries was spectacular. We then stopped along the way for a view of Marigot Bay. Lots of great pictures at that stop. We also chose to stop at Stonefeild Estates to walk the gardens and see the ancient Petroglyphs. Very serene. The tour included a quick stop at the touristy volcano, waterfalls and mudbath but we chose not to stay and instead went to the little known Piton Falls water mineral baths which we had to ourselves. Fantastic. We also lucked out at the Ladera Resort for lunch at the Dasheen Restaurant where we were practically the only ones and got the front seating with views to die for. Wow what can I say except a experience of a lifetime. This is a must do when in St Lucia.

  Highly disappointing experience. I booked this excursion for me and my husband for our honeymoon to only be scammed completely. Our tour guide kleeber picked us up asking what we planned to do only to not bring us on any of the 4 promised spots we were supposed to go and only brought us to two locations. We were also promised alcoholic beverages and water bottles that we never got even though there was a cooler in the front seat. Even when asking for a water bottle I was ignored. Instead, he made us purchase water bottles at the restaurant. When complaining I only received half my money back and asked to go on the tour another day when I already spent a whole day on our honeymoon ruined. Time wasted and complete disappointment. This tour guide really ruined our time. We seemed rushed to get out of wherever we went (volcano and waterfall) rushing around and being pointed out some spots in the car, when we were supposed to physically get out of the car to see certain spots as promised in the advertisement. I am so upset we even spent time doing this because it took away from time we should have just paid elsewhere.

  We did the private tour and used Serenity for our private transfers to Sandals Halcyon Beach. Lance did our transfer to Halcyon upon arrival in Saint Lucia. He was lovely and friendly! He stopped and got us a local snack of bread and cheese which we so appreciated, of course he had Piton beers and water for us as well! He gave us a wonderful welcome to the island. We had Hans for our private tour and our departure transfer. I couldn't tell you enough good things about our experience with Hans. We especially appreciated how much he knew about the local flora and fauna-- it seemed he knew every plant and animal we saw! We had such a wonderful time with him; he was genuinely kind and it's easy to tell how much he loves the island. Saint Lucia couldn't ask for a better ambassador.

  

  

• All Day - Land and Sea

  We recently booked the land and sea tour with Serenity Vacation and Tours while in St Lucia on Feb 6th 2020. We promptly met Hans at 8:30am and were quickly whisked away to an air conditioned van...filled with a selection of delicious drinks (the rum punch was amazing). As there were no other guests booked on this trip, it was a private excursion just for myself, husband and son. From beginning to end, this trip was exceptional. I feel like we did EVERYTHING I could have asked for and more: - We started with multiple stops to take advantage of some outstanding views. - We went to a banana plantation and sampled bananas while learning of the process. - We went through various small towns to get a sense of the culture. - We partook in the volcanic mud baths (not alot of time is spent here due to the sheer number of people). - We visited a waterfall (again, not alot of time was spent here due to the large number of visitors). - We had a lovely buffet lunch (including juice and ice cream) at Beacon Restaurant overlooking the stunning Pitons. - We visited a small yet pretty botanical garden next to Beacon Restaurant where we sampled some sweet white pulp around the cocoa beans. - We drove to the quaint town of Soufrieres where we stopped at the beach, prior to boarding our catamaran. - We snorkeled just outside of Soufrieres (not the best snorkeling I have done). - We took in the views from the water as we were shuttled back to the port via the catamaran. It was a long but amazing day that exceeded my expectations. The roads are very hilly and long but due to the lushness of the landscape, its hard to complain. I would be neglectful if I didn't mention the fantastic job Hans did. He was knowledgeable and passionate about the island and obviously loved everything about his home. He also was just a genuinely kind and nice guy which made the whole experience that much better!
